Already found a flaw with your logic. Some people buy gil off gilsellers to pay for their wins also, think everyone should do that too? They'd have to, to be "equal".

theres maybe less than 1% of the top rank players who spend irl cash, get one friend or some connections and you dont need cash at all

25k MGP
4 Platinum packs (sadly no new cards from them)

I got around 21K of points a 2 platinum packs. I don't care too much about the cards, but if you get that many MGP just for taking part in the tourney, then I welcome the change.

I am happy that the MGP reward is now reasonable for the rest of the ranks, I am happy that get a reasonable amount of platinum packs for reasonable score and I am happy that the platinum packs have a chance for each of the tournament cards. I am still not happy that the tournament rewards cheaters though. I also think that when one tournament ends the next should begin on the same day or the next day and not have to wait 2 weeks.

They're not cheating, they're playing the system to win. You're the one expecting them to play the system the way you want it to be played. It would be like a basketball player who never goes for blocks/steals because they never want to get called for fouls and then expecting everyone else to do the same. You're crippling yourself and projecting your ideals to others.

Actually it's more like a basketball player who doesn't like seeing other basketball players bribing the enemy team to let them win.

Actually it's more like a basketball game, where you get more points, when you made a foul play before. The system itself is not only allowing foul play, it's pretty much demanding it. It's btw pointless to buy wins.

I agree that if its the only way, its how I'm gonna play it, but do you really believe wintrading and the "challenge" being how well you maximize your wintrading is the intended goal here by SE?

A tournament is supposed to be played fairly. If this was a real world tournament every single person who is paying to win or using collusion with friends/competitors (and alts in this case) would be kicked out of it, maybe even permanently banned for life from participating in it again. Collisions, bribes and match fixing should never be allowed in any competition or tournament. It wouldn't be allowed in real life, it shouldn't be allowed in this games tournament either. Even if SE cannot stop it completely they should be at least trying instead of just giving out consolation prizes while letting the cheaters continue to cheat their way to maximum MGP and guaranteed cards.
