Ideas for Flying Mounts

God I really hope they minimise the damage of flying JUST in certain areas in this expansion and don't bring it back for other expansions. Or God forbid, add it to the rest of the world. Flying mounts really, really destroyed the world in WoW.

idk...I LOVED flying in WoW...one time I even renewed my sub just so that I could fly around in my bird form again for a little bit (Druid FTW...best mmo job ever!). It made me explore places I hadn't been before. See things I had easily overlooked because I just wanted to get to my destination. And right now, half the time no one really explores anyway because they can just teleport everywhere. (Doesn't stop me from doing it though) But that's just me.

So far they've said that we'll only be able to fly in Heavensward areas and not in 2.xx areas, since the 2.xx ones aren't designed for the flight speed and would load too slowly; They haven't said anything about whether or not it'll work in a future expansions (a little early for that), and they might look into it for 2.xx ones, but no plans for that on 3.0 release at least.

Also, definitely agree on making the Ahriman/Bomb Palanquin mounts flying, and for bringing in Twintania and Flammie as new flying mounts.
