Ideas for Flying Mounts

BLMs aren't necromancers.

Thaumaturges are, though... in a manner of speaking. they are, according to lore, the ones who prepare bodies for funerals. The chill of Blizzard for keeping the body fresh... and the blaze of Fire for if the body gets back up....

As for a Mount i'd like to see... A Wind-up Bismarck might be neat.

christmas events---sled with Reindeer or chocobos
Broomstick

A little chunk of dirt with one of those floating crystals at Nym sticking out the bottom, and a big propeller on the back of it.
Floating around in a giant bubble.
Let the kobolds' bomb-chair and ahriman mount fly while in flight-capable zones.
A flock of colibris gripping the player with their feet.
A fishing pole that's hooked into the back of the player's pants, and is lifting them up off the ground. Bonus points if the pole is a fishing achievement reward.
A small one-seater rocket ship like in the old 50's sci-fi movies that looks like it's made of cheese.
A variant of the adamantoise mount that has a bright red shell with a white rim, and wings.
A swarm of different-colored chocobo chicks. The player hovers in the middle tumbling in the air, while a thick cloud of chicks flits all around you.
A miniature Yovra you sit on top of.
A giant rift sailor.
CUL-crafted giant fruit with palm-frond "wings".

ehm , i for one will love to fly by myself , we do it plenty of times along the game , aether flying :P , hydaelyn power flying , or echo flying :P

I was going to say this. I really like those 2 mounts. I would like for the Ahriman not to bounce up in down, though. For some reason, that makes it look slow even thought it is the same speed as everything else. It just makes it seems like your dragging along on permanent heavy, even if you're not.

The Ahriman not being able to fly is going to lead to me traveling around a floating island on it, getting to the edge and plummeting to my death. It's just weird.

The bomb chair I can understand, assuming they function like balloons then I guess they'll only float so high. It would be nice to travel around the skies on it though .
