Armoire Woes

Rewrite armoires if you gotta, just please make the damn things useful.

The dream set and usagi kabutos aren't Unique/Untradeable unlike most pieces. They can be freely bought from the Calamity Salvager and re-sold to players. That's why they will never be added to the Armoire, which is more for stuff that can only be gotten once and never seen again.

The Slime Crown should be though, I don't think that's in the Calamity Salvager.

There was a post a few weeks ago about this very thing. It was said the way the server rewrites data is in a certain amount of time. They expressed it in seconds but said the more you add to the Armoire the longer it would take to rewrite that code and the more stress it places on the server. In other words there not gonna be anything store-able unless something is changed for sure. I don't have a direct link but there was one on here.

This was about the armory chest and the inventory, not the armoire.

Wait. So the game can keep track of stuff the Calamity Salvager has for us, but adding current event and achievement item IDs to the armoire is a bridge too far?

For the calamity salvager it only have to check which quests were done. This information get logged anyway (for achievements or the list of finished quests in the journal, as an example).

It would be nice if the NPC can also check the not consumable and not tradeable bonus items of the account. Or at least put the gears from the veteran bonuses to the armoire.

Its ridiculous that event awards aren't storable in the armoir. Its not like they didn't know about it. They've planned for the events/awards for who knows how long, yet they cant program them to be storable in the armoir, but we can still buy them off of the calamity salvager the same day as the reward?

Whoa... if that's the case, I have a shit ton of furniture I need to store in there. =_= (which is much worse since it is NOT available again from the salvager. And, as I've said on another thread, I'm not sure how long we'll have the Salvager. :/ )

The "Sweet Dream" set, however, isn't tradeable and still can't be stored on the Armoire. This is the Starlight gear that can be purchased on the Mogstation's cash shop.
