Suggestion for resetting retainer class

Just a small thing--I wish there was a checkbox on the dialog box that comes up after you select "reset retainer class" from the retainer menu, like the one that comes up when you attempt to discard a unique item. With the reset option being so close to the quit option, I have almost accidentally reset my retainer a number of times. I know I should just pay more attention, but a lot of times I'm trying to exit the menu quickly to take a DF that just came up or something.

You can't reset a retainer while they have gear on, so you don't have to worry. Or so I read last time this was brought up.

Yea the no reset while a retainer is geared will pretty much protect you from accidentally resetting your retainers class. I mean its pretty impossible to "accidentally" remove all your retainers gear then "accidentally" reset their class. So its pretty safe.

I would suggest let retainers level up multi-classes as same as players do.
It is not logical that retainers cannot switch classes. ^^;

Retainers aren't as talented as us, which is probably why they ended up becoming retainers in the first place.

As others have already mentioned, there's no need to fear accidentally resetting your retainer as there are safeguards in place.

However, as a side note, we'll be exploring other areas to place this feature so it is less likely to be accidentally pushed. First we'll have to see if moving the retainer's class reset option is possible before we make any specific plans.

I'm glad those safeguards are in place as I've accidentally arrived on the "Are you absolutely sure you'd like to reset your retainer?" screen a dozen times now (and almost selected "Yes" on accident once.) While it would certainly be the players fault for not carefully reading what was displayed, it should be noted that taking care of retainers hourly / daily requires no thought processes now. The same number of clicks is now muscle memory at this point after doing it hundreds of times. The only thing stopping you from an accidental reset is a Yes / No selection. I agree that a Checkmark box would completely rid of any possible accidents.

As others have said, you need to unequip your retainer's gear before you can reset their class, no matter how many yes prompts you click.

Yeah, the only time it's actually a danger is when you're getting ready to use Retainer Fantasia (or have just used it), which also requires you to remove all your retainer's gear (I guess in case you change their race or gender while wearing race/genderlocked stuff). But even then, there are a few warning boxes you have to click yes to.

Make it an option that can only be done by talking to the Retainer NPC, the one you talk to when you are first getting your Retainers.

This makes it a very deliberate action and not something that can be done accidentally.
