Oh, various guides I've watched and read says it is. Even with me and a couple of others taking orbs we had no issues during rolling thunder.

Those guides are wrong, and it is possible to not have any issues during rolling thunder by eating the orbs early, it just makes it easier to save them.

Ran Aurum Vale, the tank is not overgeared, and not synced, new tank. 1 dps synced (dragoon), 1 not synced (monk). So I had to sleep the extra mobs to reduce the tank's pain. This dragon keeps, "Ring of Thorns"-ing the sleeping extra mobs.... I said dont attack the sleeping mobs, yet still attacking. Thanks to this, tank died party wiped several times during the trash mob phase. 1st boss, 1 wipe; 2nd boss, 2 wipe; 3rd boss, 2 wipe.
Last boss, when the boss sprouting new morbol fruits, these dps ignored the adds. I tried to Holy these, not fast enough, the fruit hatched to morbol seedlings, killed the tank because of the Germ stack, party wipe. Second try, same, DPS ignored the adds, and just crunch the boss. Wiped.
Then he posted on party chat that we're doing it wrong, then 2dps leave....

2dps joining in, kill the adds before it hatched, and killed the last boss swiftly.
What the hell, can you even survive last boss AV by ignoring these adds?
They hurt like hell, 1 attack 1 germ stack...

So I was lvling my WAR and got Brayflox on a Low Roulette,
Say hi, they say hi and so we go on the first room clear... uhm Healer then said something along the lines of "don't worry I will keep you alive!" but I died while he was typing such sentence D:
My answer with my innards painting the ground "uuuh sure D:"
Then they proceed to apologyse, but by doing so the DPS dies by lack of heals because they were entangled typing the apology D:

That was quite ironic but other than that it was a nice run :v

This is referring to a couple of video guides I know are quite popular but oh well, regardless, he implied that eating the orbs caused judgement bolt to wipe us which is not the case and it does not condone his language either. He didn't free chaosd people either, even if he was standing next to them...

Lol i think it went by your own gender and not character gender or it could have been completely random. I just saw much less female avatars than male ones which i thought was funny if it exposed all the people playing as female characters and pretending to actually be a girl XD.

On a horror story note is it just me or has the weekly CT/ST/WoD been way more painful since the patch? Every run is hard and full of either trolls or very dumb people. I think there was some agreement somewhere that after the patch dropped they would troll runs because people will be running it for new stuff. Every single run has been a mess. The only other reason i can think of is the easter break for schools and there are a lot more kids about.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an increased influx of players doing the CT weekly now that the Tomestone has started to drop from that weekly, as well as the fact that WoD got unlocked so a lot of players will be gearing up alt jobs.

Personally, LotA has always been bad since they implemented the CT weekly. I expect a lot of people dying during Bone Dragon, at least one wipe during Atomos, at least one wipe during King Behemoth, and 50% of the time a wipe on Archon renamed. A tank in my FC that I run LotA with actually insists on tanking KB all the time now since he can just sit on KB and not care about Meteor because of his near 11K HP and thus doesn't care if the Iron Giant isn't dead (which is almost always the case now). I personally prefer to go LotA on WHM just so I can "off tank" with my HP set if need be and can generally hold all the bosses and/or adds against derpy tanks (especially true for Bone Dragon since you'll generally need five competent tanks to handle wave 1 and 2 adds per phase and you only see 2-3 GOOD tanks per run).

WoD will always be a bit of a crap shoot but you can generally tell how good/bad a run is based on how many people die on the first wave of the first trash pull. I'm not looking forward to doing my weekly this week. Will probably post here if it's truly bad =p

So AK-hard from Expert Roulette...

A WAR and two BLM's ... are just not paying any attention.

When we get to the first boss room, the one BLM dies 3 consecutive times.

Then we get the same story with the WAR, where the WAR seems to be unable to make up their mind if they are trying to pull more or less, because of comments one of the BLM's made about dinner, and a phone call causes yet another wipe.

"Vote Abandon" comes up and I'm like... yes, I see nothing but fail with this group.
