i do not care if your a noob or not cs's can be viewed in the inn and if you want to watch all the cs's the pf it with like minded ppl. also if oyu come under geared and don't know your rotation u better do some research or ask some one. i hate a lot of new player who are tanks and only grab 2 monsters when told that they can grab more they just like to drag it out. before you play you choose an main job and you stick with it and by lv50 you are expected to know your job well it is not get lv50 with crap gear, play like crap and oh i have an relic and still play like crap it and that is why we can kick ppl like you if you cant play at least some what decent we/the rest of the pt want to get the dungon done asap most are farming lights for nexus and zeta and have an short window cause if you take 2 long then dam its gone
I am a new player, and I have to agree that we can't force anyone to wait for us while watching our cutscenes. I watched my cutscenes the first time, and in my second time I participate in the fight. But one thing I won't tolerate that even if I am playing as a healer/tanker to be forced to play and stop watching the cutscenes. There is another tank and heals. I have been grinding tomestones doing daily roulette main story(in the pass 4 days or so), and someone people were annoyed the the first timer healer was watching his/her cutscenes. We just need to do what we can with one of each. NOW, if two healers or tanks are new in the DF, and they want to watch their cutscenes. I wonder what will people do/say. I would like to see that.
I did not see any good benefit DF is created here if it like what you mentioned.
Last week I run Main Scenario Roulette there is a player watching his cutscene and we all waiting for him, even I got lost they come back to me and lead me the way, and the cutscene isn't that long. I did not see any player are left behind because watching their cutscene in Masamune. I'm wondering what kind of culture in your world are?
The simple fact is that you have no control over what you're going to get when you use DF, meaning that you can't go into it with certain expectations. Sometimes you'll get groups who are fine with cutscene-watching, sometimes you won't. Heck, sometimes you get groups who can't even clear that particular piece of content. The only way to guarantee that a group is going to be the way you want it to be is to go in as a premade, whether that's via PF or with friends. When it's your group, you get to set the rules. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of seven other people, and there's no guarantee that they're going to agree with you on how the run should go.
I always wait for people watching cutscenes, but I'm just one DPS. If the tank decides to pull anyway, I can't stop that.
because most content that require 2 healers and 2 tanks need 2healers and2tanks and the rest of the pt is getting pissed at you if you are watching the whole cs and what is normally an 30 min run is now turning into an hour and an half and no the pt don't want to wait in the circle for 5-10 min waiting on you to finishI am a new player, and I have to agree that we can't force anyone to wait for us while watching our cutscenes. I wait just fine on people who choose to watch the cut-scenes, short of Prae is isn't adding anything substantial to the time, certainly not an hour worth. Meh. Also short of Coils most content that asks for 2 tanks and 2 healers can be done with less. Unless the fight has a tank swap mechanics 2 tanks are pointless and even then just having a mnk or drg take aggro so that the stacks can drop is enough sometimes. Likewise most content short of Coils can be solo healed.because most content that require 2 healers and 2 tanks need 2healers and2tanks and the rest of the pt is getting pissed at you if you are watching the whole cs and what is normally an 30 min run is now turning into an hour and an half and no the pt don't want to wait in the circle for 5-10 min waiting on you to finish
If you are using DF to farm your light for you weapon you are not only placing unrealistic expectations on a random group but severely shortening the time you have to farm. DF is horribly inefficient for light farming, or farming of anything really. If you actually cared about your light for nexus and zeta you would do what every practical player does and forum a PF farm party.

Well it is too bad we are getting irritated. It would be stupid for us to get piss off since we knew that was a possibility (to find a new player that will just watch and try to figure things out. Just use PF since that is the purpose of it. To find people that want to do thing in the same way/time/place/strategy that you are looking for. I am pretty sure that it will take you longer to find people that are doing the same thing as you in the same server and time without planning days ahead. Players get lazy and use another tool to please us while disturbing others. It is funny how I read on shouts/LS people wanting to do FATES/Ex/roulette ex, but they can't find the right amount of ppl ASAP. They end up soloing/waiting for more people. I don't tend to party with players I don't know so even if its in LS or shout, I just ignore their request. At least a friend ask me I ll join otherwise well suck for them.
You can't go into a duty finder and expect folks to not want to watch cut scenes or participate in the fight. Likewise, you can't expect everyone to know the fight the moment they zone in. If that is what you are looking for - Get a party, get friends, use party finder, or get a better FC.
Duty Finder is what new players are directed toward when they need to get fights/dungeons done.
See what I did there?
Seems like we're at an impasse since it goes both ways.
