    summoner/scholar question.

I heard that doesnt matter which one do you level 1st you still be able to get both class to 50 at a same time, but my question is which one should i level 1st? and why? i want to play as a healer class for now but what if i want to switch back to summoner? wouldnt my stats messed up since i already put all the stats in MIND instead of INT?

I know scholar has a cross skill "cleric stance" that switch all the INT stats to MIND, so should i put all mine stats on INT and whenever i switch to scholar i can switch all the INT to MIND?

Play as whatever you feel like playing, and don't worry about stats, you can get an item from your grand company called the keepers hymn for 10k seals which resets your bonus points.

When your Arcanist is lvl 50, if you've unlocked Scholar and Summoner, both of those will be 50 too. Your stats will be skewed in favor of one over the other (I put all my points in INT since I play SMN, but if you enjoy healing, put all your points in MND). It's not enough of a skew to really make or break anything though so it won't be entirely messed up. You don't have to worry. There's always an item you can get from your GC to reset your bonus points too if you change your mind.

As to which one to level first... do you enjoy fast queues? If you don't mind healing, Scholar will give you fast queues. If you don't care and would rather not worry about healing, Summoner. As you level up your Arcanist, just be sure to do both job quests if you wanna keep them both up to date in terms of unique skills.

I know scholar has a cross skill "cleric stance" that switch all the INT stats to MIND, so should i put all mine stats on INT and whenever i switch to scholar i can switch all the INT to MIND?
"Swaps current INT and MND attribute ratings". So if you put 30 points into INT, then that 30 point changes to MND while Cleric Stance is active whereas whatever your MND is gets changed to INT. So no, it doesn't work the way you think it does. As a SCH with all points into INT, you will be weaker than a SCH with all points into MND. Not that it makes much of a difference.

i do want to play as a scholar 1st seem its a healer so its seem more challenge for me but i feel like I MIGHT want to play as a summoner too, so am thinking of a best way to play both w/o losing to much DMG or HEALING stats.

I would suggest leveling both at the same time, job quests I mean. Double the quests double the exp. And the Scholar quests are a bit easier than the Summoner ones. As for leveling, when using DF it's best to go as Scholar, for the healer queues. But while not in duty, you may wanna use Summoner to use Carbuncle/Titan as a tank. And while I wouldn't worry too much about the 30 extra stat points, I would say Mind is better if you wanna focus on Scholar, Int. is better if you wanna play both. And I think the reset tablet is 250 seals now, really cheap.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

Play as SCH 1st. Healer queues up way faster in duties and allows you to level faster. You can reset your allocated attributes later by farming GC (Grand Company) Seals and buying a reset scroll (think its 10K GC Seals).

Cleric Stance switches all MND with INT, not INT to MND. This allows both the WHM and SCH to add more DPS to the encounter when spamming heals isn't necessary. Wearing the SMN stone boosts INT, wearing the SCH stone boosts MND, wearing specific gear sets for each job heavily boosts INT and MND respectively.

You cannot abuse Cleric Stance to be optimal on both SMN and SCH with allocated attributes since with SCH your MND will already be higher than your INT because of gear alone. You can play both without worry of how you allocate your extra 30 attribute points (it will only affect your ability around 10%) but if you plan on doing EG (End Game) raid progression, then you will need to be decisive at that point.

The Keeper of the Hymn item is no longer 10k seals, it's about 200 seals. With that being said, do what you feel best without reserve. It basically costs a few fates to switch your stats now.

IMO I would go 30 INT.

Because the boost from 30MND isnt as noticeable or as important as the 30INT for SMN. SCHs already heal alot as it is, whereas a SMN really needs everything it can to churn out good numbers.

But at the end of the day if you are going to be playing SCH more, go for the 30MND or even more PIE so you can DPS and heal more.

How I did it was to level ARC to 30 and unlocked both jobs at the same time - I levelled in dungeons primarily with SCH when I wasn't in the mood for DPS queues but switched back to SMN when I had time to kill just to ensure I learned to play it as a DPS class properly. For the most part SCH and SMN share most of the same abilities so it shouldn't matter that much, but it is worth doing a few 40+ dungeons on SMN while levelling if only to learn the additional abilities and how to micromanage each pet effectively.

I had planned to level my Arcanist as a healer in dungeons and DPS for fates and quests. I had intended to be full Summoner at end game.As I leveled, I discovered I enjoyed playing the Scholar much more.

If you intend to play both, put all of your bonus points into INT. The reason is that a Summoner needs more INT more than a Scholar needs more MND.
