MRD while leveling or grab the Warrior stone instantly?

I'm really, really enjoying the AoE that an MRD brings with Raging Strikes, Berserk, Overpower and Invigorate allow. Would keeping MRD be an issue later on during my trek to 50? Perhaps I'll keep this through Bray (since, I hate that place lol).

I also really don't want to level PLD 7 more levels lol

I personally never left to go back to marauder once I got the warrior stone. Especially after 35, since your survivability goes up significantly once you get Inner Beast. You can take on much harder enemies and keep your downtime at a minimum.

Probably pretty legit until Cutter's Cry, at which point you get Unchained and the enemies start to hit a little harder. Would not go MRD in Stone Vigil or higher, the DPS gain wouldn't be close to the survivability loss as MT.

When people talk about MRD DPS over WAR they usually mean as OT without Defiance, or in a situation where you're not strictly tanking, like in PvP.

I once did try MRD speed running SV Hard Mode though ... it wasn't bad one bit for that dungeon, since you only tank one boss, and there are only 3 big pulls, all of which you have Keen Flurry + all CDs for + mega heal Raging Strikes + Berserk + Bloodbath Overpowers. Would never do any other dungeon as MRD, just the healing bonus from being in Defiance alone is worth the trouble, and Inner Beast is really nice.

Thank you guys! I'll hold MRD till about Quarn, and maybe try it out before switching. I don't want to hold my party as hostages just for better AoE haha.

Honestly you will have to overpower less with Defiance.

The issue wasn't holding enmity, it was about me AoE DPSing. I loved being the best AoE in my parties. I am able to AoE "larger" pulls swiftly with Maim, Raging, Berserk, Internal Release and Invigorate. Bloodbath also makes it so much smoother too The only reason I don't have B4B on is, well, self explanatory haha.

PUG Healers will hate you for mass pulling without Defiance in most cases, though.

I'm noticing this a lot. Not having to spam overpower is nice, since it drains your tp really fast.

Usually this alone is the case in lower level instances, from what I've experienced at least.
