Should I wait?

Wait for 1.19 to start seriously leveling a DoH class? Or just start now?

I'm worried that with the new recipes coming in 1.19 I would have wasted a lot of money and time on these current crafts.

Yes but I feel like the OP. Maybe it will take a lot less once the changes come in in 1.19. So the mats he will use to level up might have wielded more levels and stuff if he waits. So it will feel like he wasted time and materials.

I would just do the DoH leves so you can hold on to your mats and use the quest one to level up and then once 1.19 drops you can craft with the simplified/changed crafting system.
