Thing is, one person was being vocal about the person who got lost. The others just didn't care what happened to the newbie apparently. If all it took was for one person to start a kick and everyone else would go along, regardless of right and wrong, maybe I should have been less tolerant and started the kick on the person who started the kick. It takes a lot for me to initiate a vote kick on someone though, and the person started their kick before I was at that point, so it was too late by that time.

I've reported people before. It really doesn't do much good I believe. GMs have stated themselves that you can kick people for "having a different playstyle", that can apply to pretty much anything, so yeah...
