Formal Letter to SE about RMT situation.

And yes, it astonishes me that SE is not giving us a single dev response to this matter. ESPECIALLY considering how vocal their devs are. They see us suffering and are turning a complete blind eye to the situation. I have a few reasons as to why they might be, but am not going to list them as I don't want this thread deleted.

It honestly baffles me how people think that SE is "abandoning" them to their RMT problem. The great McDaddy shines his favor upon us no more so we must deal with the plight of our RMT sins. Lol, it's comical the stretches that people say in response to why SE doesn't respond.

The likely reason? They don't have a solid answer that will appease the masses. They can say that they will renew their efforts and double up on their measures with RMT but then, people won't be any happier for it because they won't have seen the results. Have problem even stopped to think that they are looking at it and thinking up a means to do something and just not sharing the information with us quite yet?
People assume that because the community dev don't say anything to ANY of these numerous whiny threads that they must be doing nothing and ignoring the situation...which isn't true at all.
If there's no firm answer on what they are doing, they will be silent about it. As they have done in the past.

I don't think SE is oblivious to the RMT problem, I think, that for whatever reason, they are deliberately ignoring it, which is infuriating. If they remain silent, eventually some players are going to have enough and leave. New players certainly will not want to continue to try the game when they are harassed like this.

Once again, laughable to assume that they are deliberately ignoring it. Just because they aren't petting your heads and assuring you every minute of every day that they will do something about it, you just assume they don't care or are ignoring it. SE is a big company. It doesn't even have to bother sending ANY sort of response to any of these threads whatsoever. Like I said before as well, you have no idea what they are thinking or doing in response to any of this. Saying that they are deliberately ignoring NA players is so far to the right on the exaggeration scale... Especially when you consider just how often people post pointless threads asking for nonsense and ask for a dev response...and usually for something that they've already explained in a live letter.

And new players? Really? There have been tons of new players around that never mention spam in my FC. People who are brand new to MMOs might be more weirded out by the constant spam and people who have played MMOs in the past where it was lesser...but new people don't seem to care either which way from what I've personally seen.

Also so that SE themselves could see the screenshot so they can see for themselves just how unacceptable it is. Something has to give here. They cannot afford to keep sitting idly by. Before Heavensward comes out for sure, they need to find a workable solution. Their current plan is NOT it.

Do you honestly think that they don't already know about this? When people report them, they see the chat logs for themselves. The GMs see it and know about it. They aren't sitting idly by. That's your perception of how they are handling the situation because they aren't constantly reassuring you.

Seriously, the RMT spam sucks in its own way but the people saying that the game is unplayable like the tells themselves drive them to such a frenzy that they can't even function anymore is such hilarity. People can't get a hold of the dev team for an answer to every RMT thread and suddenly the company isn't doing anything about the RMT anymore. It's laughable the conclusions that people who start these threads come to.

I actually sent a formal real life letter to them. I got a letter back saying to report them lol

You'll have to forgive me as well...because proof or it didn't happen. I'd like to see this Japanese letter that you sent to this big company and I'd love to see the physical proof. Because otherwise, I'm calling you on this. It's like the Atma guy who did 2000+ Fates in 8 days and never bothered to put up the proof.
