I could lose Tri-Disaster today and not miss a beat. The problem is crowd control is not used in most situation or is resist because of mechanic design. Players have learned it's more effective to just AoE burns the mobs down rather then CC and pick them off one at a time. Hopefully in 3.0 devs address this issue with either making CC useful, give all dps more AoE skills, or think out side the box and find something better than trash mobs.

It's a PvP ability. Repose, Freeze, One Ilm Punch, Shadowbind, and whatever the other melee have are PvP abilities. They're not used much in PvE, but their usage spikes in PvP.

I'd like to see Enkindles damage slightly increased and the cooldown be tied to the pet using it, but using it spends that summon and locks it out for the enkindle cooldown duration.
So for example: Summon III > Rouse > Spur > Enkindle > Ifrit does big damage then dissapears and Summon III goes on a 5 minute cooldown. Follow that up by summoning Garuda and throw out Enkindle on her, but then you lose Garuda for 5 minutes.

Summoners could burst AoE more effectively but at a cost to sustained DPS.
I'd also like to see Titan's enkindle replaced by something more 'tanky', like his Enkindle is a fancy looking version of Stoneskin II or something like that.

No, Misty Veil and Wither are SMN PvP abilites. Tri-Disaster is a crowd control ability that rarely gets used due to game design.

Bind is purposeless in all PvE endgame content lol. I understand that PvE endgame isn't the only content in the game, but tell me 1 instance in which Tri-Disaster is useful. I have never, ever used Tri-Disaster. Actually will probably see at least what it looks like on a dummy after this lmao

Enkindle cool down should be reduced to 2min and be tied to the pet using it. It doesn't do enough damage to warrant a 5min cool down.

No, those abilities I listed aren't meant for PvE. There isn't much reason to sleep or bind monsters now; there isn't much chance to remove a monster's beneficial ability. They're PvP abilties. They get greater use in PvP. I use Repose all the time, and a ranged AoE bind is great to have.

PVP already has its own abilities. They shouldn't be using our limited PVE repertoire on PVP abilities.

But they aren't hurting anyone by being where they are. If you can find a use for them, then great. I've seen bards use Shadowbind in T7. And Repose has not gone into use in any dungeon since Haukke Manor, but WHMs aren't petitioning to have it removed.

Their class is focused mainly on healing. Moreover, it isn't a reward from a job quest, but rather a skill in the CNJ line of progression. I'm hardly surprised---they probably don't feel cheated by its existence.
