Any easier way to get Savage Aim / Might Materia?

i70 crafted gear yields tier IV material 75% of the time but the downside is that it takes 4 runs hq gear w/no melds of bray hm, halatali hm, and lost city of amdapor, 25% exact each run. Possible to cut this down further but haven't tried with food or fc buff (won't lose those when you die). I have tried potions seem like they might cut down runs from 4 to 3 but the effext is lost upon death.

You can easily reduce this to 3 runs by melding junk materia into the items. I personally would rather increase my bond rate than trying to depend on Mutamix to give me anything.
Additionally, you can also run Labyrinth of the Ancients for bonding. I do this every Tuesday because I have to run it any ways; and I get about 45% bond from one run.

Wandere's Palace I believe.. You'd want a dungeon around lv 60.

But for 45-50 gear, you can just SB without dungeons.

Update: Crafted our own rings and armor. Half crafting half gathering because we went out to SB on lvl50 mining nodes. Set I lvl to 37 and used spirit bond potion + the aetheryte rings. Took a little over an hour and a half to SB on pure mining. Mined separate, not partied. Got 0 IV materia... Unfortunately, the IIIs we got that sells for a decent price took a dive a good 20k so they are not selling. What we gathered doesn't really sell well. Either cobalt ore, ogre horns, or adamantoise shells.

Just go kill some mobs, it's much faster.

Also, i37 items can't give you tier 4 materia. They only give tier 2 or 3.

Yeah, the recommendation was that the OP go kill stuff wearing crafting/gathering gear, to get crafting/gathering materia... what kind of materia you get is based on what kind of gear it is you convert, not what kind of activity you perform. So mining to Spiritbond gathering gear would be slow and painful, especially lvl 50'ish gear.

So if you can get stuff like a couple of HQ Raptorskin Rings, Raptorskin Jerkin, gathering earrings (electrum I think) etc and then kill those lvl 50 creatures in Urth's Fount you'll Spiritbond that in minutes, not hours.

You want to use the i46 equipment. There's almost a full set of i46 DoL and DoH equipment. Barring that, use equipment that's as close to i45 as possible without being under i45. Nothing under i45 can give IV materia. When doing openworld spiritbonding, you don't want to use anything over i45. When doing spiritbonding in dungeons (which you should only do with DoW/DoM gear, partially because there is no DoL/DoH gear that's i70+ and convertable), you want to use gear that's appropriate for the dungeon.

HQ i70 with 1 materia and SB potion is fastest bound with T4 with recent burn due to overgearing + echo T4 takes 6 min or so and you make 30%+ per run.

Well, I apparently don't understand the "fight stuff that is at least 10 lvls above u" because nothing can be that high

We went out with i45+ gear. The only 55 gear I had was my rings, pick, & sledge. Everything else was 45-48. My ilvl was like 46-47 or something when we went out. It was terribly slow SB. Usually ~1% per node. So I thought, ok- maybe I am not supposed to equip every slot so I can drop ilvl to speed it up. So I unequipped a few acc's and dropped to i37-40. Seemed to SB faster but still slow. This was just a test. I was hoping to make gil on the items gathered in addition to SB.
