Hmm thats weird, i pretty much always get at least 1 or 2 comms by just doing that.

Edit: Have you tried playing whm for holy'ing on trash? People love that stuff. Sometimes SCH dps can be a little bit unnoticable if you dont look out for it.

Not really, I've been pretty nice, I think. Maybe you just took the DPS comment a bit too much to heart. I changed my post immediately too (makes me wonder if people sit there hitting F5 or something haha) because I realized that it might offend you since you seemed to take offence from that one post even though you're hinting that you read the whole thread, so you would have clearly seen where I said I was sorry for that comment.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that comment, I guess I shouldn't assume DPS is easier, it just usually is in every other MMORPG I've played so I naturally assumed it was in FFXIV too (from what I played of THM, it was definitely easier, but that was in lvl 15-26 dungeons, and even healing at that stage is easy, so I can't really base it off of that) . I guess it's just less stressful by the sounds of it.

I respect you a lot for this post. It is a bit different depending on the mmo (I've played quite a lot myself; WoW, Archeage, Wildstar, SWOTR, ESO, FFXI, etc..) but in the end, pretty much all of them simply just come down to the players themselves. That's why when a single role appears to consider itself more important than the others. It can come off as a bit egotistical. This is why I never give comms based on role, but on the player.

I'm genuinely puzzled. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Sort of seems like you're just trying to start something to be honest. I've been nice in my posts besides one post that wasn't even really "mean," and which I apologized for.

XD DPS can save a party and not get any recognition either.

If you're only doing stuff for commendations... Might not be the game for you~ XD Who gives who their commendation is really up to the person commending, and it certainly has nothing to so with disrespect for the people not getting the comm, it just means they thought the other person did better, or left more of impression etc.
