When I convinced a few friends to join the game (they're loving it now!) we decided to just do a 4-DPS premade to get through all the low level content. I brought my SMN and played every role at the same time, it was pretty great. Sometimes I think the game would be more interesting if roles weren't so rigid.

I have more but are no tank fights like demon wall, we couldn't kill the last boss of amdapor keep as duo, it requires esuna leeches or big heals.

Another fun thing to do is Soloing dungeons with Titan Egi.

For managing trash mobs.

Egi on Obey. Sustain - Bio on a mob and then Heel. All the mobs gather on the Summoner. Rouse + Mountain Buster then Sick.

Always have Rouse for the pull. You will get 2 Mountain Busters under Rouse which is amazing AOE enmity.

It'd be more impressive if Titan-Egi were to tank it with everyone else at i120 or greater considering that there are real tanks i120+ who fail at holding aggro against comparable-ilvl DPS.

Often. Tends to be a lot better than a lot of random tanks you find.

Yeah, an i100 Titan-Egi holding aggro against i120+ DpS would be a sight to see.

Amdapor HM is i100, being in i120 is roughly 20% more powerful than you need to be to handle the dungeon. If Titan-Egi managed to tank the dungeon while everyone was in i100 or less that would be impressive.

but its definitely not balanced around i90, due to the dps checks

Topaz Carbuncle can safely tank up to Haukke Manor. Been there, done that.

I once did Haukke Manor without a healer. So as a PLD I helped cure the Topaz Carbuncle that we had and I didn't tank a thing!

Best run ever done: Toto Rak 3 rogue 1 gladiator... we wiped first boss twice till we knew burn is the way to go but onehit the rest

I'd like to see a Titan-Egi tank a Titan, just for the weird novelty of it.

Then when the summoner's party wins, he has to turn to the Kobolds and say "Where's your god NOW!?"

Me and my wife qued Halatali HM last night: me on smn (110) and her on Whm. the dungeon seemed to start out fine. We loaded in with a pld and drg. Well the pld starts pulling stuff, as in only the first set of mobs. Now understand, my wife is used to healing my WAR on speed runs and so she suggested he could pull more mobs at once since it was late and we wanted to get the dungeon done soonish. So the pld just leaves the duty... Guess he thought he was teaching us a lesson. Well I take Titan out and pull two groups forgetting my enkindle was on CD. we wipe once, the drg bails on us and another one ques, a first timer. At this point I've about had it with the luck so far. So we proceeded to run the rest of the dungeon this time with proper care. You know things went pretty smooth and Titan tanked everything in there like a boss! Sad to say that pld that left had pretty good gear but Titans balls were bigger than his ego, you weren't missed mister diva tank!
