Poetics cap from 2.5 pt2~3.0. Will it be removed?

I highly doubt they will uncap poetics before 3.0, that's not how it's been done in the past.

2.2 removed philo tomes uncapped myth and added soldiery, with a new raid added (SCoB)
2.4 removed myth tomes uncapped soldiery and added poetics, with a new raid added (FCoB)
2.55 doesn't follow the pattern

Any in-adherence to patterns implies a different situation. We will not be seeing a new tomestone for 3 and a half more months. There will not be any new raid content for 3 and a half months. Coils and poetics are going to be obsolete 2-3 days after the new content hits. It makes zero sense for them to wait until the new tomes are ready to lift the cap on Poetics. If not immediately with 2.55, then certainly the first or second mini patch after it. Seems silly for SE to open the doors to FCoB with its 130 gears and DROPPING LOTS of twines and coats, but not giving us the means to use said items

Terminology used is different. Could just mean you can access FCOB by using DF instead of running to Northern Thanalan.

I hope so! I'm atleast happy the WoD weekly lockout will be gone. Now if we could get Encryted Tomestones from it too like they did with ST, it would help immensely. But now I just think Im being greedy :P

They maded the same misstake in Sycrus Tower! Its REALLY hard to get a gear or 1 Time sand/oil, because stupid people greed on anything! - Even if they dont need it! - I've seen lots of people taking gears but they arnt lv50 at that class D: <

Seeing they do the same crap to CT3 again makes me quit the dungeon completly. You wont get a gear you want. <.<

lol no.. not until the expansion.. wth are you guys talking about... there is NO TALK from devs about a new tomestone. It wont be removed until a new tomestone is implemented.

It does get removed. I'll quote this from the german subforum since the Dev answer there clears it up:

wir werden mit Patch 2.55 die folgenden Anpassungen an Bahamuts verschlungenen Schatten vornehmen:

Die wöchentliche Zutrittsbeschränkung für alle vier wird aufgehoben.
Ihr werdet direkt auf jeden Bereich von Bahamuts verschlungenen Schatten Zugriff haben
Ihr werdet den letzten Abschnitt mit einer vollen Party mittels Inhaltssuche betreten können.

The changes for FCoB regarding patch 2.55 are as follows:

The weekly lockout will be removed for all 4 parts of FCoB.
You will gain direct access to each turn immediately (T9 clear still needed, I guess).
If you want to enter T13, you need to preform a full group before using the PF for entering. (basically the same as before, except you don't have to meet up anymore).

To add for clarity: It wont be on Duty finder this patch.

It's just like the other coils, first lockout is removed then at a later date the DF and echo come into effect in stages. ^^

I'd rather doubt that. Augmented Ironworks, AF2 (likely an Ancient Armor-esque token turn in from the first level 60 dungeons), and FCoB gear are likely to be entry level gear for Alexander NM and HM.

yeah if they do this, i don't see the point to keep a poetic cap. i means you can farm WoD and FCoB.... to have the poetic still caped feel silly.

Nope. not not seals... Whenever some1 took a gear and didnt even is there lv I asked the player why he wanted it. Most answer was : "No clue! I always choose greed on anything!" >_>

If they are about to remove weekly limit then players should NOT be allowed to roll on an item they cant even equip!

Im really bad as a Tank!(<1% of my game time is playing as Tank) I dont think any1 want me on WoD in there and screwing things up,
just because its the only to get those tank gears >;o
