That is a thing of beautynice set-up. I've always thought the /chotbar command sounded neat, but I don't really have a use for it on the PC.

By all means, post it here! I'm sure mine isn't perfect, and besides I always like seeing other people's setups!Ohh nice set-up![]()
I like my set-up too, it's pretty different but what I NEED to do is move Sprint somewhere more accessible. Honestly it's in a terrible place but I couldn't think of where to put it..... seeing where you have it though gives me a few ideas.
(I wanna post my sch hotbars but I don't wanna usurp your thread, either.)
I actually have a pretty novel use for it for M/KB as wellOf course it's not /chotbar , it's /hotbar, but still.
It uses three vertical hotbars beside the party menu, to the left of it. The left one is hidden in 4 man (if I didn't I'd have to use 4 hotbars, and I didn't have an extra to spare). The right one in 4 man shows 5 buttons - the top one is a picture of Leeches that when clicked, makes the left bar visible, and changes the right bar to 8 icons. The icons all have targets from <1> to <8> so I can just click the icon and use Leeches on a party member without targeting them. When the left bar appears, its the same thing, but macro'd to Swiftcast+Resurrection.
I'll see if I can make a gif of it and I'll edit this post!
*Edit*
Okay well its small and bad quality, but its my first gif, so it'll have to do! I don't know how to directly imbed gifs, so here's a link!

Oooh I hope you can because that sounds really cool......
---
Here is my set-up:
DISCLAIMER: I macro all my attacks with <t>,<f>,<tt> in that order. I don't highly suggest it because it does cut down your DPS pew-pew, but I'm slowly weaning myself off it, haha. The reason I did it was so I could target my party but still be able to attack since I used to be (and still am, really) terrible at stance-dancing and targeting quickly. I'm improving though...
DISCLAIMER 2: I have my button settings are D-pad on the left and buttons on the right. It's the alternate setting in the options. It just makes more sense to me, to have the buttons displaying on the side of the controller I'm actually using. (If you still don't know how it works, change the setting in-game for a minute and try it out.)
You may notice the rightmost three buttons are the same for each set. That's because Ruin, Physick, and Adlo are my most used actions and I gladly sacrifice bar space to have easy access to them at all times.
I don't have any fancy switch macro; I used to but I found that it hindered me more than it helped meI just use the standard RB/RB hold+color buttons to switch hotbars quickly.
CBar 1:
This is my DPS bar. Embrace is macro'd with itself, ahah, for before when you couldn't interrupt your fairy. Whispering Dawn is macro'd the same way, for the same reason (they seemed to have changed it though.. so. IDK)
Shadow Flare has Swiftcast on it so I can cast it quickly.
None of my own heals are macro'd at all.
All the DOTs are together (except one....) I use Miasma II quite often. (I bet tanks hate me because I run right up to them and cast it. Ha.)
The icon next to Embrace and WD is my place/heel macro. I click it once, I can set the place area I want my fairy to go to. If I press it again, she'll return to me (and I can still place her again if needed). Very nice.
CBar 2:
This is my heal bar. The left icon is for /focustarget because there isn't one naive in the game somewhere???? Why??????? I couldn't find one, so I made one.
All the heals that use Aetherflows are together so I can find them quickly.
Ruin 2 is replaced by Succor in this set. Embrace and the Place macro stay. WD is replaced by Sustain but I may switch it in the future...hm.
CBar 3:
This is the fairy/extra bar. It used to be really empty but it filled up. The fairy attacks are all macro'd so that I can use them with either Selene or Eos (has Eos' icons though since I use her more often).
Protect is down here since it's rarely used (besides if someone dies or at the beginning of a dungeon ofc).
Unmacroed Swiftcast just in case.
Macro'd fairy summons so I can set them to obey immediately. (Also has Swiftcast because I'm impatient).
The fairy attacks were all in the same group but I found I really needed Sprint somewhere more accessible, and since it's assigned to LT-Y, I can easily a)switch my set to this one and b) cast Sprint while running. I couldn't do it before because it was located on the D-pad.
Also Succor here because if I'm down here for longer than a sprint press the party probably needed Succor anyway......
Anyway that's it. Not perf but it works for me.![]()

Awe i wish I could share mine too, but sadly I'm stuck on ps3 no pictures to capture, unless anyone knows a way?
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Somewhat offtopic, but...
Assuming single-targets and boss fights as well: I wouldn't hate you for it if I were tanking, I would just be curious why you would be dumping a GCD into a 70 potency skill when you could have been Ruin spamming (or better yet, Ruin II + bookwhacking). However, if you did it on a trash pull, I would high five you.
Then again, I see single-target Miasma II pretty often even from career-SCHs. Only worth it to cast it on multiple targets, never on single-target. (For SMNs it becomes 120 potency with Contagion, we naturally do not have that as SCHs).

I do it all the time on both single target and group pulls. While it may not be as good as a few Ruins, it is extra damage happening while I switch out of Cleric Stance to get back to healing. I find by the time I get in Shadow Flare + 3 main dots + Miasma II somebody is in need of heals. Extra damage without actively casting is fantastic.Somewhat offtopic, but...

It isn't as good as a single ruin. Run 2 is instant cast and does more damage than Miasma 2. Single target the gcd is still better used on Ruin 2.I do it all the time on both single target and group pulls. As the person below me said, my point was that Miasma II is 70 potency whilst the Ruins are 80 potency on single-target. If you don't want there to be the wind-up time, just do a Ruin II on single-target.I do it all the time on both single target and group pulls. Anyway, I am done hijacking the thread.Got nothing to say about controller hotbar setups as a PC player!

nice set-up. I've always thought the /chotbar command sounded neat, but I don't really have a use for it on the PC.
