    What does that have to do with trains in FFXIV though? Except maybe a thread derailment?

    That's not correct - as I mentioned earlier the railway between Castrum Meridanium and Castrum Centri is a completely separate line from the railway in Central Thanalan - the tracks don't even look the same because they were built and are owned by different countries, the former naturally owned and operated by the Garlean Empire.

    It was this line that was blockaded by Gridania during Operation Archon and they sent troops into Mor Dhona specifically for the task as the line runs nowhere near the Black Shroud.
