Titan Storymode is all about the DPS/Healers and their ability to dodge Titan's "Landslide" ability. The tank just has to hold aggro and face Titan away from the party. A few things:

Bring Titan to the edge of the platform and tank him there. That way, if a party member gets hit by Landslide, they might not fall off. Every time he jumps, pull him back to the edge.

When Titan jumps and the edges of the platform start glowing red, you (well, and everyone else too) need to be as close to the red zone as possible without being in the red zone. The damage you take from the jump is based on how close you are to the center, but the red part falls off.

When bombs appear (there are bombs in normal, right? If not, ignore this! I get normal and Hard Mode confused sometimes), get directly between the two closest to you and right up against the edge of the platform. That's the safe spot. Or, if your healer is good and you find you're not good at finding that safe spot, you can just sit on top of the closest bomb and soak the damage (try to have "Inner Beast" up when the bomb goes off if you do this). The important thing is not to be in a spot where two bomb explosions will hurt you - that's a lot of damage.

You should be in Defiance and you should be using Inner Beast (the WAR 35 skill) as often as you can. It gives really nice damage mitigation.

If you aren't dying and you are holding aggro, and you are still wiping, then there's nothing you personally can do. It's not your fault. If the healer fails to dodge a landslide, it's a wipe. If both DPS fail to dodge Landslide, it's a wipe. Without enough DPS, you can't break Titan's Heart during the heart phase fast enough, which wipes the party. If you're in an FC, you may want to ask your FC for assistance.

(And, I know you aren't, but if you ever tank Titan as a PLD, never use Cover in that fight. Landslide's knockback appears to transfer through Cover, causing you to fly away if the person you cover gets hit. Funniest wipe I've ever had - I'm sitting there in front of Titan and suddenly zooom! I shoot off into the distance.)

Nah, story mode only has Landslide, Weight of the Land, and Granite Gaol. No bombs. ^^

Lmao... the mental image. I forget when I learned that cover transferred the knockback to you.

I wonder if Tempered Will/Hallowed Ground would save you (since those prevent Landslide from knocking you back).

Oh, well, then you should watch out for Granite Gaol, which petrifies a party member and prevents them from doing anything until it's broken. If you are able to, target the Gaol and throw Tomahawks at it (or, if the Gaol happens to be in melee range of the boss, melee the heck out of it - just don't turn Titan to face the party while doing so). This is especially important for you to do if one of the DPS has already fallen off the platform (which, by itself, is not necessarily a wipe), as a significant portion of your party is unable to act until it's broken.

I haven't tested it, but I'd be very surprised if Tempered Will didn't work. It seems to prevent all abilities that move you involuntarily. Hmm, thinking about it, I wonder if it also prevents jump pads from working, or the water spouts in Hullbreaker. Ah well, things to test when I get the opportunity! Because science!

Both Tempered Will and Hallowed work on Landslides, just to save you some trouble there.

We know. The question was whether they worked on the knockback from Landslide when it's been transferred through Cover, not when you yourself were hit. Of course, this is an off topic tangent, so we should get back on topic.

On topic, grats on your clear!
