I reserved mine from Game Stop...Honestly the only thing I'm interested in is the dragon statue. Not sure if its worth me sinking $130 into it. Can't decide if I should switch to the digital CE.

You reserved the CE at Gamestop? It doesn't even seem to exist in their system yet.
That's what I was told when I reserved it...maybe it was just the regular edition. I'll have to check my receipt. I guess I was too excited to pay attention.

Sorry, I can't cure Stupid

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...rs-bonuses-etc.If you are considering purchasing the physical Collector’s Edition, we highly recommend purchasing through the Square Enix Store/Boutique, as we cannot guarantee that there will be stock available through other retailers at a later date.
Probably does.

The game was available on some websites (Amazon, Gamestop for US and EBGames for canada) but removed not long after I know because I was constantly checking because paying what would have ended up being $280 from the SE store (180 USD because of massive shipping costs then duties when it hit which for my province is an additional 15%), my guess is SE has told them they cant sell them until xyz date to get as many people to order from them as possible. I already snuck in a pre order from EBGames canada in the 2hrs it was available before it was hidden again and have since cancelled my order from the SE store.
A note when cancelling an SE store order it takes 2 days and make sure they cancel the correct order, they made a mistake when cancelling my pre order (I am sorry person whos order was cancelled instead of mine) they will give you the order # of your cancelled order make sure it matches the order number you gave them in the email and check to make sure it was removed from under your account on the SE store.
Oh I could imagine the reaction of that person finding out.A note when cancelling an SE store order it takes 2 days and make sure they cancel the correct order, they made a mistake when cancelling my pre order (I am sorry person whos order was cancelled instead of mine) they will give you the order # of your cancelled order make sure it matches the order number you gave them in the email and check to make sure it was removed from under your account on the SE store.

I agree with this, but more so because they are always messing up how many they have. They don't watch their inventory. Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop etc... have oversold items a few times that were 'Limited' or 'Day One' items, then people were getting emailed basically saying 'we oversold on XYZ items, and yea... we are canceling your order, deal with it.'
I'd rather just buy from the source.
