wait isn't that in Horizon?? O_O
Thanks for posting the translation, can't really tell what it means yet, looking forward to hearing the english version.
i want that armor right now!!!!
Dance like you mean it !
who knows maybe the garleans arnt the evil invading army that we all think they are.......................... least that would make for a much more twisted and enjoyable storyline apart from what we know now which is very cliche at the moment but still well done.
Maybe SE can add some Gun fists Gun sticks Gun whips Gun daggers Gun shields and Gun guns to the game next.... Im just joking lol least they would look awesome. BTW Gun swords etc.... existed in anime/manga long before FF series introduced them so they arnt a FF trademark; yet FF has done a good job portraying them better than most other outlets.

Now that I'm awake I guess I'll do this quick and dirty. It's going to sound like crap compared to the actual in-game dialogue that's surely already written though.
*Old word that literally means "a lake of sake, a forest of meat." Calls to mind extreme decadence. There was a conversation about the scheduled soldiers' leadership so we all went down to Horizon to see some new NPCs.
Here are some screenshots.
Pose!♪
The following is the say bombardment attached to the scheduled soldier leaders with GM marks.
Legatus Darnus : Before the cycle of the Twelve, let us lead Eorzea to salvation.
Legatus Darnus : Hear me, those gathered here; my wishes are their wishes.
Legatus Darnus : The chirpings of the one who calls himself sage scorn Eorzea.
Legatus Darnus : [I'm not sure what he's saying here, either he's saying that the sage (Urianger) is a twisted person, or he's describing removing his head. I think it's the former but I really can't understand Darnus's speech very well.]
Legatus Darnus : A decadent feast* awaits one who would bring the sagacious one before me.
Legatus Darnus : His screams will be the finest fanfare.
Tribunus Atilus : Commander, please hurry.
Legatus Darnus : Be not concerned!
Legatus Darnus : Those gathered here!
Legatus Darnus : Give thanks to your good fortune at having been here, and joyfully quake before me! [I'm 70% sure I got this completely wrong.]
Legatus Darnus : The Seventh Umbral Era!
Legatus Darnus : It is the very existence of the sage Urianger!
Legatus Darnus : Toss aside your foolish feelings of patriotism and worthless principles!
Legatus Darnus : Join forces with us, and make resound a symphony of united forces for me!
Tribunus Atilus : Commander, leave it to us from here.
Legatus Darnus : Corner Urianger, torment him, and bring him before me!
Legatus Darnus : There is no way to save this land but your longing, searching, seeking.
Tribunus Atilus : The commander speaking to the savages so directly is awe-inspiring.
Tribunus Luscus : Capture Urianger! He is surely the source of the crisis!
Tribunus Luscus : A reward goes to the one to bring him to our army!
After a while they teleported out, and the usual battle didn't take place.
Looking forward to what kind of events will follow this one!
"Scheduled soldiers" isn't a typo, it's what our LS members have named them.
They always come at the same time so...scheduled soldiers. lol**
**Noted in my post above, the phrases are pronounced (and therefore typed) the same.
Seriously, this is going to sound so terrible the second someone witnesses the official non-sucky dialogue in the English version of the game.

Much appreciated. This is actually one of the best translations of JP text I've read on these forums from a player.
On a side-note, apparently we, the citizens of Eorzea, are savages?
I'm really curious how the story will play out now because there are always two sides to a conflict. Compared to the Garlean forces, we really do appear as savages with swords, bows and arrows...
...and magic.
I think the most interesting thing about these events is that there aren't just two apparent sides. Sure, Garlemald is definitely the main antagonist here, but it's interesting that they try to appeal to the citizens of Eorzea to get what they want. They could easily crush everyone but instead they ask people to join them, as seen here and during one of the story quests where they are distributing propaganda linkpearls. Beyond their tricks though, are the mysteries of the primals and Urianger.
Either could be good or bad at this point. The sylphs think the primals' influence is corrupting, though they still worship them as gods, while the Empire seeks to control them and basically just thinks of them as really big elementals. As for Urianger, it's been said multiple times that some people think of him as an "archon" of the Twelve, but Garlemald and others think he's directly responsible for bringing calamity and he does summon a drake/raptor on you. The ascians are yet another faction that want nothing to do with anyone else, nor anyone else with them.
Although due to some events in the Lominsan storyline it's possible at any time that a story NPC could be an ascian in disguise, or an agent of them.
It's nice that, at least so early in the story, we don't yet know for sure who's to be trusted and who isn't. And even if that is mostly clear, at the very least their relationships to each other are more complex than just one set of good guys on our side and one set of bad guys on the Garlean side.

For whoever asked a while back: Gardening Teacher is what online translators come up with when the JPN term for Botanist is put in. "Gardening teacher with a hatchet" = A botanist.
"I shall refrain from making any further wild claims until such time as I have evidence."
– Y'shtola
Anyone have any idea how often these guys show up? I was camping afk there earlier today but no luck in a handful of hours.
