Not at all, everyone does it. Not much choice, the word limit is simply to small. This shows especially when you quote someone (word count of the quote also counts towards the 1000)

Plus there is a limit to how many posts you can make per day. If you were to make new posts for every additional thing you would soon reach that limit and be unable to post more.


Flawless synthesis is particularly useful at those low ranges of crafting, where trying to craft a higher level recipe you might only get 7-8 progress otherwise.

As far as the beast tribes go: the materials their vendors sell are unlocked per level of reputation. At neutral you will only have access to the most basic of tiers. (which can also be obtained from the guild vendors and the FC house vendor)

aldgoat horn, vitriol, blue landtrap leaves from Kobold..
Sylphs also add a nice boon to your WVR mats with linen and velveteen, etc.
Sahagin vendor sells Olive oil for 8gil a pop!

I know some people that make the money simply by selling those items on MB especially the olive oil.

Seems I was wrong. Indeed, with those extra materials its well worth starting off each of the beasttribes quests.

True, I guess the CP cost and the steady hand requirement always pushed me away from it. And maybe I've lost sight on how tough it was to push through those levels without the tools/gear.

It's strength is still only strength on paper, so I wouldnt say that was the case. You need level 50 to get it, but by the time you get the required class to 50 your other classes will likely be beyond the point where the ability is of use.

If for some reason you have classes below lets say, level 20 or 25; then it's a really amazing ability.
I don't recall exactly how much progress you would normally get in the 20ish area tho.
