Jalzahn won't take my atma...

I have done both. When I select the zenith enhancement all he says is how is your search for atma.

No, you choose the weapon that you are upgrading

They should number the phases in the list somehow. I run into relic messyness problems all the time too.
Like for example:

He says it's possible to re-spec the alex phase. I have like a million follow up questions to this!

Can you do it even if you're in soul glazing mode?
How do I copy the stats I do NOT want to re-spec?
HOW do I actually do this?
Do I need to re-spec all the slots at once?

Are you perhaps working on Animus books for other classes? I know it's not supposed to interfere but just checking. Also note that just "unequipping" your zenith won't help because it goes into your Armory Chest, not your inventory. You have to manually move it into your inventory.

You don't need to move it to inventory, armoury chest is enough.

Having an Animus weapon in the works does interfere, by the way. If you have an animus weapon in the works, you cannot upgrade a zenith to an atma weapon, there was a complaint about this just about a week ago.

Bring the novus-or-higher weapon and a new sphere scroll to Jalzahn (doesn't matter if it's mid upgrade or not). This means you'll need to buy another 3 enchanted inks to get the scroll (presumably less if it's a PLD sword or shield)

You will get back a sphere scroll that's already at 75/75 melds, copying whatever you melded it as before. You just remove and redo as you see fit. You will only need to expend alexandrite for whatever you're replacing (so if you're just moving 10 points into something else, you will only need 10 alexandrite)

Bring weapon and restatted sphere scroll back to Jalzahn again, voila, weapon will be restatted.

No I don't. I have 12 UNIQUE atma. I have NEVER turned in any atma before. This would be my first zenith upgrade. Even after sleeping he is still not giving me the option to upgrade anything. Just asks me how the search is going.

I went and farmed 12 atma to see if i could replicate this problem, is there anyway you can give us some screesnshots? really trying to figure out how to help you
