putting a bit more thought into it, time of day could possibly affect thaumaturge spells. also... i think the black shroud might be the only place with only 2 weather types being clear and rainy with no windy(i have not spent much time in mor dhona yet but the time there i have spent had a fun prismatic effect). though as it has been said, it could affect more then just spells, such as accuracy, defense, and attack damage. maybe with certain weather conditions also working with peoples elemental alignments in point allotment.
side note... why is there a time of day/current weather condition thing on the UI... one would think thats already quite obvious
