If you're still giving them money all they'll know is they will gey away with it and try more stunts (see: cash shop). Complaining but doin nothing about it changes nothing. It's become pretty clear that SE gives no hoot about consumer satisfaction anymore now what they got their 4mil players back. If you don't talk money they won't care.

    Sounds terrible...

It wouldn't work. I tried sending Lalafell parts to them, deaf ears.

Maybe I should send Miqo'te parts next.

Hey! How about I send you my cache od Elezen ears and Roe femurs. And you spend those to your friends.

And we all send parts to them. Make them think they are dealing with a number of angry customers.

The ONLY way you get SE to change is to not buy it. Simple as that.

And to be frank, even that, likely won't actually work in your favor if the other regions (NA and JA) still buy the product in large numbers. All that SE will interpret that as is 'the EU isn't interested in Boxed versions/CE boxed versions' and then will likely market them less in your region in the future.

So really, either way, you're likely screwed.

That said, many items I purchase here (US) that happened to have prices for England etc as well on them, are typically higher priced there than they are here. Like it'll say US 20 dollars, England 25 pounds. So not only is your conversion rate higher, but the actual price (even if dollar-pound was 1:1 ratio) is higher. I'm not saying it's right...but it seems common practice. It likely has something to do with the constant changes in exchange rates/the items I'm seeing having different import prices between countries.

everyone here knows, that they'll sell every single ce, they could even sell them for 300$ and more

sure thing that ppl complain, but in the end its worth it for them and they just buy it

As said from the other post, the EU CE will and might be sold out because the EU CE are include all EU country and not just UK. IF the Uk refuse to buy, the other country will buy and SE can say : ALL EU CE SOLD OUT, or something like that. But they will never say how many had sold in UK

And it wouldn't matter, because if you don't buy, there are plenty of other people (even in the UK) that will buy it.

I'm actually surprised it costs more than the JP version frankly.
I mean, i can understand why (fewer import/export fees/taxes when you're selling in your own country) but media companies are known to gouge the HELL out of consumers in Japan because they can get away with it. (many Japanese people will even outright refuse to buy cheaper products because they don't feel they're getting the most for their money. It's why Japan is one of the few countries Wal-Mart floundered in.)
Did you know the average new movie released on DVD/Blu-Ray in Japan still costs upwards of $50? Frozen cost about 4800 yen when it released! Small wonder they still have an active and thriving rental industry.
