Lady highlander animations are fantastic. They move well, they look good in just about anything, and most importantly, they emote like an overacting drama student. They are the best kind of Hyur, hands down.

While I find the Miqo'te race "cute", I find the female highlanders really STRONG, beautiful and feminine. With the plus that their appearance is really warrior-like. That's why I said that the highlanders are pretty much the Final Fantasy's saiyans, lol. I have a concept for this kind of stuff, and in a very personal opinion, because you know... opinions ain't facts, it really bothers me to see a puny Miqo'te or a girly-princess-like (midlander) Hyur trying to play a paladin/warrior role. It drives me nuts. HOW CAN YOU EVEN LIFT THAT AXE, MANG?! Yeah, I'm a roleplayer, and even though we "live" in a fantasy world, these things bother me... a lot. I love to wear heavy armors, I'm completely against bikini sets because of the same reason so yeah, if I'm going to take hits, my body must be ready for that.


PD: Lalas are still adorable and I love them all. They are the true master race. Whenever I see a little lala Paladin, even though I think it's super squishy, I picture a kid trying to hold a sword to impress their parents. It's so adorable!

I play a Miqo'te because I LIKE the race. I didn't want to play a boring Human, but Lalafells are too... puntable, and I toyed with an Elezen a bit because I like Elf type races as well, but they are too... disproportionate in my opinion. The only other race I seriously considered was a Roegadyn (in fact, I have a Roe alt). But Mio'te was the one that appealed to me most, and even after playing around with the other races I didn't find one I liked better. It has nothing to do with visual effects, weird cat girl fetishes, or whatever, I simply liked it the best. My go-to races in tabletop and LARP (given the option) are cat-people or Elves, so seeing as the Elezen look weird to me, I went Miqo'te. Everyone has their preference, and it's not our fault you chose wrong

Honestly, I don't know why people keep whining about it anyway. It's not like having an over-population of Miqo'te effects your gameplay in anyway.
