Blame Squeenix for why we all play as Miqo'te

Anyone wish there was more plate bikini type armor for their Miqo'te Paladin? Some people don't like plate bikinis but I do, I want my character to look sexy while tanking stuff.

Frankly, no.

I don't mind outfits with slightly less armor but if I wanted nude i'd play T*RA.

Also Im surprised this thread lasted this long before the angry kitties/lalas started going at each other.

You can look cute/sexy while wearing armor, without being in a bikini.

Though honestly they'll probably add more, so don't worry. (Though I don't hate bikini armor. At least it's blatantly a sex grab, unlike the giant hole in the dragoon armor which just makes me really angry...........)

All the plate bikinis look the same in these games though. It's better to look sexy while tanking stuff with something that generally just looks good on you.

Uh... what makes you so angry about the DRG armor? I quite like it the way it is.

Probably because it serves no purpose other than "hey guyz here's a tummy". It isn't even mostly sexy/skimpy armor, it's just a tiny detail on otherwise covering armor.

Making it have everything fully covered would have made more sense. The spot on the armor is like seeing a car with a perfect, sparkling paint job on it except that one long slash on the door.

Seeing a slash on a car's paint that already has bad paint isn't nearly as annoying.

There is plenty of fully covering armor and plenty of revealing stuff - what's wrong with something in the middle? I prefer the DRG armor's look for females quite much over the one for males.

It is exactly the same as the male armor except with a giant "STAB ME HERE" """"sexy'""" hole in the middle of it.
At least bikini armor is like, yeah we made sexy 'girl' armor, screw realness. With the DRG armor it was like 'let's make a functional piece of armor but oh yeah it's for girls, we have to make it sexy somehow....yeah let's just remove the middle, stomachs are sexy, right?"

I was just answering your original question, it's all opinion. That may be his reasoning for hating the armor, I know it's my reasoning and opinion.

That said, from a logical standpoint, it makes me want to say "just go ahead and take off all the armor, you're vulnerable in a critical area already anyways."

Dragoon armor obviously has a preference for protection over agility too, so that's what makes it even more annoying to me.

I could go for some leotard armor personally. FFXI DRG kinda had a thing like that going.

Sexy looks aren't inherently bad. The art book actually has a comment next to the Coliseum design like, "make it look like something out of cheesy 80s sci-fi", so they knew exactly what they are doing.

Yeah though, the dumb belly hole in female dragoon AF is really lame. I hope the new set they showed off for Heavensward is designed more thoughtfully.
