Blame Squeenix for why we all play as Miqo'te

Most people play Hyur for the simple fact that it's easier to identify yourself with a human than with a fantasy race.

Lots of people make their characters to identify themselves in-game. Many even strive to make them look like their real life self.

This is true. In the show yourself thread so many people chose hyurs and many looked like the players. Hyurs (midlanders) are a safe choice and miqo'tes offer a bit more without being too far out of people's comfort zones. Especially if you consider that we couldn't even purchase fantasia for nearly a year after launch.

I've moderated a few gaming forums. Oh god, what a nightmare it can be if you don't have the tools you need to control it. Here, the mods are actually able to hand out the bans and such so it's one of the tamer ones.

Care to elaborate on the purpose of your reply? You're right he did say "I need." So... what's your point exactly? How does that change the fact that he insults other players' race choice (and our dignity) based on his personal sex attraction of FFXIV?

I don't think that anyone has made a post on the race lore of this game. If you read the description in the character creation, it states for the Miqo'te that "Many individuals tend to lead solitary lifestyles, particularly males."



I was always a loner as a child and had few friends. So when I saw this quote in the Miqo'te description, I naturally gravitated to the race type that was most like my own personality.

So since the Miqo'te is the most like myself out of the available races, it was an easy choice and unlike other players who have regretted their choice of race, I am proud of my choice and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Miqo'te is the Master Race, that's why we all play it.

I hope Squenix puts Miqo'te in more games so I can play those games too.

Anyone wish there was more plate bikini type armor for their Miqo'te Paladin? Some people don't like plate bikinis but I do, I want my character to look sexy while tanking stuff.
