God forbid you USE THE FREE RETURN.

God forbid you USE THE FREE RETURN.

return is only one way...

1. Set return to Ul'dah. Cuts down on half your warping.
2. ???
3. ANIMA!

Smart ppl know how to make better use of their anima...
I ge tnot wanting to run to coerthas form anywhere... but a trip to LL from uldah is short... just make a fave spot at grid a fave at coerthas...set return to uldah...and you are already saving 3 anima on each of those trips...

Even with smart conserving it dwindles to 0 for moderate/heavy playtime users.
Even only logging in to teleport to do guildleves every reset, it's put me at close to 0 (thank god for duelbox). What's worse in addition to this is waiting on leves & aspect to come back. It's like they don't even want you to play the game.
But, meh, new transportation is otw. No use caring now.

I have never gone below 20 since 3 weeks ago when i was at 100... if you are too lazy to run from black Water to Uldah thats a whole different point (just an example).

eh i can see porting back from broken water if your in a rush.
Generally i hoof it unless people are waiting on me. and when i do port to another region i normally port to the one i have set as the favorite in the area. Unless of course time is a factor then i bite the bullet and spend the extra three/four anima to get as close as i can to them. Choco's and airships will help out a good deal, save for them costing gil to use
Teleporting and Anima are luxury's, Treat them as such. and ere ting gona be ok broda.

My methodology of saving anima has changed with the recent change in the Home Point system. Remember that you can do leves without changing your home point. I cut a lot of my walking time in half by keeping my home point in either Ul'dah or Camp Tranquil (for Garlean Invasion and Lancer GM Leves). So If i were to go to Coerthas from Limsa Lomisa, at least I can return to Ul'dah to cut the walking in half.
When all else fails, Heck the Bed.

i think anima really spoiled us a lot. i remember in ff11 when we had to walk all the way to jueno without chocobo and it was fun. had to dodge high lvl mobs and u die right infront of jueno and u rage. good old days.
Dance like you mean it !
