Can we please get a sub-forum for "Heavensward discussion"?

The problem is not simply preorder threads. The expansion is THREE MONTHS away and we have so many speculation threads on the subject...

Kind of pointless since in a few months Heavensward will be FFXIV. Gold Saucer is an entire full fledged feature with many different topics thatll likely be in the game and discussed for a long time.

Usually theres a few threads here and there related to Heavensward. So what if there are more of them soon after they announce something or the start of pre-orders (and broken website no less). No need for a whole new temporary sub-forum just because someone cant take a few extra threads for a couple of days.

It would be nice to actually be able to find the existing threads about butt sliders but we can't due to people constantly making new threads asking questions that have already been or cannot be answered.

While a plausible idea in theory, this will likely not happen, especially in the way you envision it. IF (and that is a colossal if) they do create a sub-forum for it, people will still flood the General Discussion page with all things Heavensward, simply because they know that GD is the quickest, easiest, and best place to voice yourself if you wish to be heard. While only a select few monitor specific sub-forums, nearly everyone has their eye on the GD forum, so you can bet that SE is devoting more manpower to this area of the forum to accommodate that.

I've seen the odd post about release dates, and general inquiries about airships and the what not but nothing to same extent as today.

Definitely not to the extent it's going on today, no. Like I said, I'm indifferent to the subforum thing.
