Is Heavensward Region lock as well?

So I have a EU version of the game, and was wondering if getting the NA version from the preorder site would still work for my version. Thoughts?

Yes, the expansion will be region locked so your thoughts on getting the NA version for your EU account will not work.

Actually, no. It shouldn't make a difference. The code is the important part, and once it's registered to an account it doesn't matter if it's EU, NA or JP. I've never heard of a 'region locked' expansion to an online game, and it would be rather foolish to start now.

This is incorrect. SE account that is EU needs an EU copy. SE account that is NA needs a NA copy.

I don't think us SEA could buy it off the NA/EU store? (mine's NA). Wonder if it's buyable if it's the digital download though.
