So Europe misses out on a boxed CE of Heavansward? (PS3)

Yoshi did say at one point they wouldn't support PS3 forever and that they could only assure the game would be supported for PS 3 up until 3.0 - after that they might stop.

Do you plan to continue to support the PS3 version even after the PS4 version is released?
Y: At this moment, we've already begun work on the expansion pack, and I can tell you that at the very least the PS3 version will be supported up to that point.

People would just quit this game, they dont buy a new console just for 1 game they want to play.

While SE will not give players a free PS4, they did offer free PS3 --> PS4 ARR game upgrade for a limited time.

Production costs arent much of an excuse at this stage given the sales and paid account numbers, this must be raking in millions of dollars/pounds a month in subs, as for production the only thing different they'd be printing is cover art of the PS3 disk and box - so what pennies per unit in blu-rays and not much more in ink for artwork?
As for shipping, most PAL/EU games are assembled in Germany/Austria so thats pretty central and the stand editions will probably come from there too, so again not much of a reason.

It would be a nice gesture to give the EU the CE as well, we bought the game, survived launch and pay our subs each month like everyone else. So even a limited run of a few thousand or so would be better then nothing.

Yoshi already said they would like to drop the PS3 because of too many limitations to their system with it and they will be doing it sometime in the future, maybe in the next year or so.

And no, it wouldn't be stupid, the PS3 is old and out of date, they are limiting what they can do for a system that can't handle it. A used PS4 is like 200$ ... that is saving 50$ on a bi-weekly paycheck ... o.O

Yoshi also said we get new housing areas for Private people and they are seperated to guild housing areas - they have a much lower price too.

Besides with yoshi saying things like maybe doesn't make an it will. The word maybe means its a possibility not a definite. So why are you guys trying to make it sound like he will. Are you guys ps3 haters? Cause it sure sounds like it. Also he said the future as well the future could be anywhere between tomorrow and 100 million years from now. So when he says maybe in the future nowhere does that say it definitely will in the next year or so. Also only way I can really see them phasing out the ps3 users is if most of the ps3 users either quit or upgrade. Cause as long as they are making money off us ps3 users it be stupid of them to phase out the ps3. Since they would be loosing money from that.

Then buy other games to go with it, or Buy a PC, your using a nearly 8 year old console that cannot run much anymore, so truly its like saying you cannot play this game on a .. lets say Dell studio 1515 (came out the same year as the ps3 i beleave) and it is there fault when advancements of tech have come out :\

all ps3 users are now slowly getting phased out with only 2 choices upgrade or be left behind.

uhg.. There arnt any PS4 games im interest!! >;3 + o-o;

And I dont know if we can have the same PS3 Profile also active on PS4! (wich is need to play FF14) There so many games on PS3 I want to play.
(Still many ps3 games made by Japan!)

Maybe in 1-X years I will buy a PS4 IF new PS3 games wont be released. o;
