The only things that actually need fixing with TT is the tournaments and the duplicate card MGP amount get from selling them, nothing else needed fixing in my opinion.
I find Random and chaos about as challenging as rolling a dice and getting a six, much skill there!

Each card has 4 sides, the battle space has 4 sides which can be used for blocking and both those things can be used to your advantage. Not forgetting the opponent too is under that same rule. I won about half the matches using chaos that I played. It is challenging and sometimes you do get unlucky but there is still an element of control, even if it is not 100% control which is something you have never had as you do not get to pick your opponents cards for him/her.

I can tell by the second card if I'm going to win lose or Draw with "Chaos" and no it doesn't effect the NPC because they are programmed to play things in a certain order anyway. And then random "oh hey what are my chances of winning with my worst cards vs 5 cards the worst of which are 4 stars!"

..and yet I still win a lot on those NPC's, go figure.

If your worse at it, do not enjoy or do not understand the challenging aspect I described...so be it. I do not care at this stage, as said I got all the cards they dropped before it gets nerfed so at least I got to enjoy them while they were challenging. This nerf won't affect me anymore as I have no more reason to battle them, the nerf is for the worse players or ones who did not enjoy the challenge in my opinion.

I have finished with the NPC's, I get my fix from playing other people now which remains challenging. Whine all you want about what I said but I gave you my opinion, take it or leave it. I'll just continue enjoying playing people instead of NPC's now that I am done with the NPC's pre-nerf. You can enjoy your easy mode post-nerf version if still farming NPC's for cards.

RNG isn't a challenge, you can keep claiming it is. Its like saying "I love the challenge of random Drops". WIth random since they use the same 6-7 cards I know if I can win just by the deal. With Swift I know If I'm going to draw or win after the second of my cards. Period There's no challenge. Its boring. I might as well just let the game play for me for Random or chaos at that point.

    I got my sixty.

Yet you fail to grasp it is not 100% RNG, you have control still even if it is more limited control than without those rules. You have never had complete control in FF14 TT against NPC's even if they had no rules you did not get to choose your opponents cards or how they played them. Your whining in my opinion that the rule limits your control but the fact is it never erased that control completely and as I said I won a lot of matches against Chaos and Random, probably about 50% after unlocking 3 star deck so it is not as hard as you make out. Even FF8 had the 'random' rule etc plus a rule called 'opponent' which in a way is similar to chaos.

I suppose your now going to whine about how can't beat with 1 star deck or a lot harder with 2 star, well of course it is harder without a 3 star deck but NPC's range in difficulty and your supposed to work your way up as your deck size increases so there is no problem with not beating a harder NPC using a starter size deck etc, your not supposed to be fighting the hard ones before built up your deck just like your not supposed to run coils at level 1. It is funny how your getting all worked up over my opinion expressed earlier that I enjoyed the challenge pre-nerf, no-one is forcing you to agree with me yet your whining about it is not going to change my opinion.

I'm going to assume you're completely making this up now because you seem to have no idea how random works. I'll explain. With Random they give you 5 1 star cards no matter what is in your deck. Occasionally you will get your silver or something else but its 9 times out of ten one star cards. Even at sixty cards with multiple silvers, one star cards.

Lets continue. I didn't say "I have a problem with beating them" I'm saying ITS BORING AS HELL. I know what cards they have because every damn npc only has like six cards. SO maybe you should stop bringing that up? I know when and where they are going to play it because they have a simple basic pattern. There is nothing challenging about Npcs whatsoever. Some just have annoyingly frustrating rules. It would be like if you entered the coil and couldn't use any power past level 10 randomly because "challenge!"
