If you are refering to the "7", then yes, that is a typo, I doubt that would be right in any language, lol. But while reading the sentence I notice something else that seems odd. While the sentence makes sense, the punctuation seems a bit off, at least to me. The "but worry not" part should connect with the second sentence, not the first, like so.
"What remains of our supply has already been distributed to the search party. But worry not, they should be reporting back within a bell's time."
Technically you're not supposed to begin a sentence with "But", which is perhaps why they chose to punctuate it the way they did. However, it would not have been wrong to just connect those two sentences with a comma on both sides of "but worry not".
