NINs that Goad tanks in long fights... (also makes me think of another for that other thread...)
The problem Ninjas using Goad on tanks in long fights is that the other melee will need TP as well. If a monk or dragoon doesn't have TP, they can't do their job. If a tank doesn't have TP, he has done his job well enough to not have to worry about losing hate and can do other things while he waits a few ticks for TP. You have that full MP pool, might as well use it if you don't have TP.

I've actually run into a few "worst case scenarios" where I've depleted MP & TP, SCH is twiddling thumbs and letting fairy heal from the room entrance, its bad enough I have to ask for a goad to keep TP up enough to hit my MP combo and keep myself alive with SS/cures. Rest of that run I tanked mobs on top of the healer just so I could get healed by the fairy...
Unlike melee DDs, tanks don't have Invigorate. Do we HAVE to have goad? No, but it the above worst-case scenarios it's needed. I've also had NINs refuse to goad for no reason, where its NIN & BLM/SMN so there's no excuse. Bad NINs? Most likely, but again another of those worst case scenarios.

When I have to go AFK for a second in a duty and I return to find one of the other people hung back and waited for me even while the others ran on ahead. Always have a moment of "D'aw, that's so nice!"

When people ask for the things they need/want (ballad, foe's, goad, mantra, etc.) when they see I haven't jumped on it immediately, rather than waiting until after to go "Why didn't you do so-and-so?!"

Winning a specific triple triad card from an NPC after only a few tries.

You should never mark targets in dungeons because you should be aoeing trash pulls.

One simple one... Healers who esuna my Pacification from zerk when they're not otherwise busy. One little thing, but makes me instantly say they earn my comm.. until they go DPS happy and let me die next pull after being so awesome.

What brightens my day is that there are actually a large majority of players who don't feel that there is only one way you should always do things.

Want to mark targets and proceed steadily and methodically? Excellent.

Want to charge in and just AoE them all down? We can work with that.

What brightens my day? There's room for us all.

Oh yeah, what also brightened my day once

    was this guy.

Honestly, any time a name/FC tag combo makes me giggle is a surefire day-brightener.

-When people say hello in dungeons.

-When tanks wait for buffs and don't instantly run off and start pulling when the barrier drops.

Yeah, I'm still new but I'm trying to train myself to do this from day one. It's incredibly counterintuitive though to be running towards more enemies, lol.

Me, I like when a tank marks enemies in order, I'm methodical like that.
Or when you're in a Fate and people are healing.

Dungeons don't count as long runs. If you are desperate for TP, stop pulling. I'm talking about content where TP management actually means the difference between victory and defeat.
