ITT: SE Rep provides a HUGE reason that live letters should be live translated... Then ignored the NA/EU concern that needed info is going to be delivered at the same time, in the same detail, as their JP counterparts.

Why?

The live letter's contents are translated live by the community and then later by the community managers who post here (presumably after verifying that their translation is accurate).

Getting the same information a few hours earlier doesn't change what the information is or what you can do with it in this context.

Well then, it's not a "live" letter provided by SE themselves for the majority of the player base, is it? SE should just call it like it is. It is a letter aimed only at the Japanese player base.
