Any chance we could get a new "Legacy-mark" for the pre-Heavensward Event? =D

Something special just for being a 2.0 player? I started with 2.0 launch and I can't get behind this idea. However, giving us something cool (earrings or something) as a reward for a pre-expansion event that they're never going to hold again would accomplish much the same thing. As far as people bringing up veterans rewards to "prove" how long you've played...that idea is flawed. All kinds of people are running around with the newest veteran rewards even though "technically" no one has played for 720 days. It simply means they prepaid a certain amount of theirs sub. If a newcomer really wants that stuff at 3.0 launch they just need to pony up the $$$

I got access to the beta without being in Legacy. I think I was in Phase 2, 3, and 4.

Look, it's been mentioned repeatedly now but seems to be lost in the 'legacy tattoo' debate so It stands to be repeated, again, WITHOUT any other topics woven in. You ARE getting rewarded for the time you spend playing the game, it's called the Veteran Reward program and has been running since Day 1. Every 30-60 days they add more rewards that anyone can get just for playing the game. Right now the prizes are too numerous to name off the top of my head but the latest are Cloud's post-Advent outfit (i.e. sans sleeve) and the fat chocobo mask. And there's no doubt going to be another at or after the release of Heavensward. These are your rewards for supporting the game, all are bound to your account (save the Hildibrand painting) and everyone who's played for as long gets them. What MORE do you want?

I would love the cool stuff the Legacy players have, but to be honest... they have it for a reason. They stuck with a failing game (and from what I've heard it was BAD), and they were rewarded for their loyalty. Yes, a lot of us came after the game re-launched, but even though I am envious, I'm not mad that I don't have a cool tattoo or a restricted mount. Not that I would say no to any of that... lol

Yea, and I got access to Alpha when it was basically just Limsa Lominsa and rabbits murdered people outside the gates. No mini-maps that were readable and the tails on mithras were two toned with your highlights.
I didn't stick around long enough during 1.0 to get legacy status (was still playing FFXI) but if you have the tattoos, you are legacy according to the player base. Drop the attitude.

I too fail to see why people should be rewarded for simply playing in 2.0. Vet rewards for your subscription is enough.
