So were getting Au Ra soon, but what other races do you want to see in the future?

You can stop talking down to me now. You can pretend you aren't but its very obvious since you feel the need to "educate" me on definitions of words I already know. Offense? Not really, just kind of like...I don't see why you bother when it wasn't even what the thread was about.

Man you really do take offense easily. I wasn't talking down to you and I wasn't acting all high and mighty like I was better than you. I wasn't trying to walk all over you either. I was making a statement that you took offense to like I was trying to make you feel bad or something and I responded to it the way I usually do when I deal with people thinking that I'm trying to tear them down.

I mean you could have just replied saying "Oh, ok! Sorry to take it the wrong way! ^^" But no you had to go and dig yourself into deeper insecurities. :\ Sorry you don't have as thick of skin as most of the people who post here.

What I would really like (and will never happen because it's impractical) are truly non-humanoid species/races.

OTOH FFXI lets people play as monsters, maybe someday FFXIV will have something like that too!

Gnolls would be an interesting choice for sure. It would add some diversity to the races since they are not really human-like.

I actually did try to talk to you about the race, you just focused on the part where I said laughingly you don't need to bold and capitalize to get my attention. I am sorry if I misinterpreted the definition thing, but to me I don't see how it could be anything other. You also keep making up things about my state of mind, I am not offended or insecure lol, just if someone talks down to me I'm going to ask them to stop.

So just talk about races you want, okay? Then everyone can be discussing what the thread was made for ^^

I also asked nicely for you to stay on the race topic, but instead of saying "No, I was not talking down to you, sorry if it seemed that way" you added a bunch of other things accusing me of be offended easily and full of insecurities. Although SE said they want to keep their playable races humanoid, my hope for a Red XIII race still lives.

I would really like a Red XIII race too, I always used him in my party in FFVII. If not him then maybe a shape shifting race or job. I know WoW is a touchy subject around here sometimes but I played it for awhile and I miss my Druid a lot sometimes. It was the only game I played where you could shape shift and I really enjoyed it.

There were two types of Gnolls actually, but they were still the same race. Just certain few Gnolls had the ability to stand on their hind legs under certain circumstances.

When it was originally thought that Fenrir would be a primal, I had speculated that the Gnolls would be the beastmen tied to him.

In FFXI, Gnolls were called Wolfmen instead of beasts, so they are a sentient being and would most likely be a good race choice if SE's next race were to be a Mammalian Beastmen like race.
