Any chance we could get a new "Legacy-mark" for the pre-Heavensward Event? =D

And your point is? Nothing you bolded has anything to do with the tattoo. There were many perks given out for being a legacy member, but that tattoo wasn't. The tattoo is the calamity survivor tattoo/legacy mark and it appears on every character that was created during 1.0's life span as they "survived the calamity".

What bugs me about the Legacy Chocobo is that it has the legacy brand on its beak however it did not get sent forward in time 5 years and thus should not have the brand. The description says how it looked for you for 5 years. Another thing he is your first chocobo from 5 years ago yet you get another chococbo to basically replace him and this chocobo can fight with you. Would you really replace your faithful servant from 5 years ago?

It has everything to do with the tattoo, there were 1.0 players that weren't eligible for the tattoo so not every player got one.

People without legacy status did get the tattoo, however. If you created a character in the lifespan of 1.0, your 1.0 character did have the tattoo. If it didn't, it was a glitch. Heck, I even loaded up my 1.0 character just to check and I'm far from legacy, and I have it. Any character created in 2.0, be it by someone who has legacy status or simply someone who bought the game 1.0, will not have the tattoo.

I accidentally wasted a fantasia trying to figure out how to get rid of my legacy tattoo. Click the wrong button to exit after I couldn't find how to get rid of it.

And being on a non-legacy server, no one else seemed to know what it was. I eventually found out how to turn it off.

Anyways, blah blah blah legacy players are special snowflakes, Heavensward isn't a remake of a failed game, but it'd be nice to see something additional for being a pre-Heavensward thing. Lore-wise, Midgardsormr could decide to brand you with something.

In the end, it's just another thing I'd have to figure out how to turn off.

Uh, the Legacy mark is easy to turn on or off at will, it's just the text command '/legacymark off' to hide it, and 'legacymark on' to show it. No need to recreate your character if that's all you want to change.

As I said, I figured it out in the end. The reason I used the fantasia was because I thought it may have been something I accidentally clicked on in character creation.

I'd rather this not happen, not because I wanna feel special but 1.0 transition was something that won't happen again. This expansion is an addition, not a transition. The world wasn't torn apart like the events from 1.0, I'd like the memory of this game being given new life not be cheapened because some of the player base are jealous since they didn't support the game back then.

While I am not in agreement that the Legacy players should have a discounted for life subscription on a now immensely successful and sustaining game, I do believe that the Legacy mark should be a 1.0 reward that is exclusive to the legacy players..

uh no we earned that life time discount we committed to pay to play a game that every one wasn't even sure if the reboot was going to be successful. That's called customer loyalty.

The reason why the Legacy mark is character based is because it's whole point is to identify a 1.0 character and not a player - all characters that were created in 1.0 were transferred into ARR regardless of account status. Thus the Legacy mark identifies this character as preceding ARR's existence.

Not true, my 1.0 Character doesn't have the mark.
