Samurai relesing sooner then we think?

Developing them both and choosing between the two also means that Samurai was intended to fill the same role as Dark Knight, as in a 2H Sword wielding tank class. In which case why would SE release Samurai next when they just put out another class with the same role.

If you look at class variation in the game post heavensward, I think it much more likely the next new class would be a caster type dps. probably Red Mage.

We'll have 2 ranged physical DPS, 2 ranged magical DPS, 3 melee physical DPS. I think, looking at it this way, it's more likely that we'll get a first melee magical DPS or a fourth melee physical than a third ranged magical. Class variation by itself doesn't suggest that magical ranged is any more likely than physical ranged.

yeah next job is going to be a caster no doubt , the question is what job (dont think is gonna be rdm )
