Dark Knight Mount Speculation

Knights have a generic connotation with horses (I mean, look at the Chess piece!), which would mean dark knight job => dark horse mount?<snip>

Without seeing your picture (link broken?) I can't help but imagine Odin with a winged horse. There's too many horse/pony/unicorn mounts in this game already - I'd rather have something truly unique.

If NIN didn't already have Bat PVP armour I'd suggest that - a dual purpose mount that walks on its hind legs and uses its wings are front legs when not flying (Wyvern like movement). That or maybe something serpent/snake like would be cool - like a giant black adder.

Dracolisk mount! Honestly i see most dark knights riding Sleipnir as a mount, imagining a full alliance of au ra males in full dark knight armor in formation on them as we speak... -hides nosebleed-

It could also be a bull, though that may step on Raubahn's toes a little since that is his nickname already..

What if Drk doesn't get a mount? Wasn't the purpose of those mounts to give incentives for people to roll tanks. I don't think Drk will have problems with people rolling as one.

I really would not mind a Boar, it could look very intimidating if done right. Personally i kind of want either a Scorpion or a Manticore. Random as it may seem the scorpion has always through out mythology had a vengeful/ wrathful edge to it. Scorpio was sent to kill Orion the greatest of hunters, imho it simply says to any and all "Come against me and know you will pay the price." The only reason I would suggest Manticore is not only do they also have a scorpion stinger but they also represent a fusion of both mystical and martial aspects. Dark Knights don't solely depend on there weapon/ physical strength, they harness the power of darkness as well as the use of a great sword in order to bring down their opponents. I can see as to how it would be difficult to represent these as mounts (not to mention as pvp armor) but here a little out side of the box thinking may go a long way.
