Housing should be as infinite as everything else in the game, then the land plots will decrease in price.
Also so that servers won't run out of space.

Also it's just a game, nothing we have is real, so the only consideration is game balance and fun; you didn't earn anything in this game cause it's just a game that you play to enjoy yourselves.

There's an issue with supply sure, but if you can't afford a Small plot, you can't furnish the damn place... I'd honestly rather have an unowned plot, than have a plot owned by someone who cannot afford to furnish the place...

Lol, it was an post about an idea I wasn't complaining about being poor. I didn't want to get an fc room because I'd loose it if I ever moved fc.

Still, that's not really a lot of furniture. I had a lot of such furniture lying around, the vast majority I have not used simply because rooms would look nonsense as a result. A house with little more than a Valentione's Cake, a chair with no table, and seven inkwells in it seems somewhat wasteful.

I see the price of housing as a check system; If you can make that much money you're likely in a very good position to furnish the house well (most of my Gil came from crafting, most of my furniture I've crafted myself). If you can't afford a house, then the plot would likely be wasted and sparsely furnished.

You aren't trying very hard. Small houses are 4 mil and that's not even a lot of money in this game.

Go craft some accessories and spiritbond them in urth's gift and sell the materia. Do this for a day or two and you'll have enough gil to buy a house easily.
