Oh, the Ballad of Hunbrect Longhaft has not been forgotten. While the postmoogle quest may have shed a little more light on the life and times of everyone's favorite cocksure keeper of the lever, his history is far too colorful to be told in a single sitting. The realm's lonely lordlings and ladies know this, as do the realm's bards, and ever so slowly have exploits of young Longhaft spread across the land. They have even reached beyond the Gates of Judgement and into holy Ishgard...where the church censors have been quick to blot out portions they deem to be propagators of impure thoughts. The following is an example of a pair of post-censor stanzas from the Ballad:

Yes, the **** rasied his ****
And said, "******* not red
For this *** could run much ****** still."

Yet the **** did not ****
That a **** could **** so
And she ******* 'fore ****** her ****.

Luckily, the censors' reach is rather limited, as we will see in 3.0! Until then!
