Just because people don't want to make an issue about it doesn't mean everyone is happy about this. Those bikinis are slutty. If you take that as an insult, well then maybe you ought to think about it. "Everybody's doing it." is hardly an excuse.

As for FF, yes, they have had some sexualized stuff, but they have never gone this far before. I watch a lot of anime; I know exactly what type of stuff Japanese shows are capable of. I have always appreciated that FF kept it more toned down, and it's one reason I love the series so much.

Am I calling SE out on this? A little bit I suppose. The worst thing is, I actually like the basic idea of the event. But no, I won't be participating. In my mind, while sex is by no means a taboo subject, it is in the end a private thing between me and my husband. I don't put myself on display for every man to oogle.

Just for clarity's sake, so no one thinks this is onesided on my part... for all the boys out there in the harnesses and underwear (there have been a few strutting around on my server), all I have for you is a massive eyeroll.

The fact that you think they are slutty is simply your opinion, and not a fact in itself. They are pretty tame, if you ask me. The ONLY thing that I could imagine you having a gripe with would be the amount of cleavage shown, due to the fact that there is no string holding the cups together on the bottom.

And your comment about sex makes absolutely no sense. Bikinis have nothing to do with sex. This whole event has absolutely nothing to do with sex.

Learn to appreciate the human body without having to think that skin = sex.

God, society today has really fucked up the wiring in a lot of peoples minds.

EDIT: I just read my comment and realized I sound like an asshole. Don't take it personally. I respect you for your choice to keep your sexy side to yourself and your husband. Most of my comment was to people in general who think that anything to do with the body that's attractive automatically has to lead to sexual thoughts. That is not the case for most mature people.
