So I'm a little disappointed that the short presentation of the Au Ra was the same video that's been circulated the internet for 4-5 months with no new info or no new views of their animations and such other than oh yeah you'll get the character creator benchmark next month. When next month? Early next month? Middle of next month? Late next month?

Not even any extra info about naming conventions or more lore to wet the appetite of those of us seriously looking to convert to Au Ra come Heavensward! >:| I hope tomorrow brings something more but I have my doubts.

Well, telling us their stats is pointless given they only mean anything during the first few levels before armor and bonus points render them moot. Creation options are even less feasible given how many there will be, may as well have just brought a console and made a character for all that's worth. Videos at game conferences are just to tease, so... yeah, learn to live with the disappointment.

I'm not wondering about stats. Read the last sentence! I'm more interested in Lore and Naming Conventions.

I've seen their run/walk animations in the tour video...that's about all you get.

They have one hour to make a presentation about the entire expansion. they're not going to waste time on the lore when it may end up contradicted before release anyway, and may even involve storyline spoilers. Such as why they're tolerated when Ishgard hates all dragons in every form.
Lore usually comes from developer posts. They usually spend panels discussing what's coming and when. Not as many people are as interested in the lore as are interested in what the new jobs will look like, and enough people complain about "well why don't they just add X job?" that they felt the need to dedicate a large portion of their presentation to how jobs are added.
Remember they don't even have much concrete info on the lore behind the races we HAVE, and most of that info came way after release. We STILL don't have much "race lore" on the roe races or the different lala races.
Why do you expect them to dedicate part of a very important presentation to something even THEY don't put too much thought into? It's not like we hear miqo'te love poems or see Highlander artwork.
Also the presenters were a community manager, Yoshi-P himself, and Yoshi's interpreter. Lore guy wasn't even there.

I liked the Au Ra presentation, we got to see the walk and run of both genders also emotes ^^. Need to know if you will be able to play the race/gender . I can't wait to play around with the benchmark next month !
