BLM tips for when mobs all turn on you, or tank is dead etc?

Thanks everyone, I'm getting better at it now, I think the biggest issue I have is because I'm on PS4 and so a lot of adds I find hard to kill because they are dead before I can finish casting. Like I just did Garuda, and it was brutal because those adds appear that we have to kill asap, but I don't think I helped with any because I could never get them. I usually would hold L1 and then up or down to select one on the enemity list, but sometimes by the time you select it, then start to cast, the thing is dead, so try to target another one, only to have it say out of range, because you don't really know where on the screen they are, and so on. I find I usually just have to use Scathe in these situations but that's my biggest frustration. Especially if you're getting low on MP and need to do Blizzard 3, can just get tricky.

I pray my healer is good and will save me if the tank can't hold my threat or he's dead.

If the tank died, I hold my grounds since it's most-likely a wipe.

If I took aggro, I pray my tank is smart and the reaosn i took aggro is because he's iLevel 90 so he'll cover me. If you take aggro from a warrior... Run for your life. Nothing will save you.

If healer and tank die between one boss and the next... say a pull was too big for one or more party members to manage... and I looks like a full party wipe anyway I'll try and finish off whatever adds I can so they won't be there on the next trip through.

I remember a while back,was in cutters cry i think it was,everyone died but me(blm) i was kiting a train of 6 mobs shouting "you'll never take me alive" It got a few laughs,job done...or maybe they were laughing at my death as i stopped kiting for a second to get that typed in,idk.
