War - St vs Crt & Det??

Curious about my fully melded 110 wootz armor vs ilevel 130 upgraded fending body armor. Wootz has 24 St, 12 Det and 12 crit (among other stats). Just considering damage, is that better than the fending that has a huge str boost to 50 but no crit or det? Assuming I don't need the accuracy, which is better for DPS? In short is 50 St better than 24 st, 12 crit and 12 det?

HQ Wootz body has 39 STR, not 24. With the body and leg pieces, the 130 gear has to have total crap on secondary stats for pentamelded 110 to be worthwhile.

I can't find the thread, but there is a forum post stating calculated CRIT/DET weights for a warrior. IIRC both were worth about 0.2 of a STR point, with DET worth slightly higher.

Except when you need more VIT to survive <insert unavoidable attack>, or when the trade off is an obscene amount of secondary stats for a small amount of primary.

Which doesn't make sense due to the potency of Sword oaths 2nd attack and it not being affected by SS, while WAR gets a solid DPS boost from 9hit zerk.

I'm sure that the 9 hit zerk metric isn't slotted in there, since its a threshold and not a static or graded diminishing return. I think that the calculation had SkSp worth more than STR if you had less than your 9 hit zerk when someone on here was modeling it in a ghetto rigged but factually accurate way, from what I understood.
