Aye if some item prices drops ALOT i will just mass buy all and resell them with double/triple/quadruple price, Savage Might II's are good example they used to cost approx 3k each but now those go between 50-70k each thanks to some market manipulation $_$

Well
I happened to find a certain crafted item whose full cost in materials + crystals in the MB is half the price its HQ version goes for in the MB... And on top of that, it's an item that goes out really well, and I can HQ it very VERY easily (around 3 or 4 NQ in a full stack of 99). I basically can buy all the materials, craft mountains of it and sell it all with a 100~150% profit.
Hell will freeze over before I ever tell anyone what item is that.

Yes, yes yes. Everyone has an item like this. Eventually people will discover it and you'll move to a new item. This is nothing new and/or special.Well

.
Look at the prices of Ehcatl Sealent.. that stuff went from 300k a piece to fricking 100-110k a piece due to undercutters and massive inflation of goods -.-

Exactly. I used to be a really poor person in Eorzea, now I'm onwards to my first million.
I even have some spreadsheets to help me find other alternatives should this fountain dry up.

What a coincidence, more people eventually gain access to a valuable item you can get once a day with minimal 20-30 minutes of effort and the price drops.

Selling thing you garden is also one way to get lots of cash....IF you have a house to begin with

I find undercutting by 1 gil quite annoying, to be honest. Putting my item up at, say, 5000 gil, only to find this the next day:
4997
4997
4998
4999
4999
5000
It may not lower the market prices, but man does it make me want to slap someone.
......
4996
It's like a reflex!
.
It can be a blessing in disguise. Undercutters often times bring highly expensive items down to a decent price... or a more reasonable price. Sometimes people sell for far too much.
