I got the card somewhere around 8 runs. Side note: Yes, You can still wipe on Ifriti Hm, Light farming, card getting knuckleheads like to leave 1 nail still up and dps the boss " This So-called skip a step" mainly ends up killing any non farming, relic questing just out of story mode players and Yes, me the healer.
Last I checked you can't just leave a nail. It explodes and wipes the raid. What step do they seem to think they are skipping because it sounds like they want to gleefully wipe.I got the card somewhere around 8 runs. Actually, yes you can leave a nail and phase-push which speeds up the fight. It should be roughly about 2-3k AoE damage per person, obviously not enough to wipe.
This is ENOUGH to wipe/kill lesser geared non-tank players. Leaving 1 nail may nearly kill your healers without Stoneskin, SS or a Whms protect on. I saw a "just out of story mode tank with 3800 hp die this moring after the 1 nail expoded. I do my light farming at item level 65-70 gear to save gil. Eating Garud's winds and Ifriti's fire attacks adds up. Its very costly. tip: This method may not be worth the 3-4 sec. it shaves off this already easy fight. IMO
"Do what you want , I will always kill that nail"

I'm just curious if you can point me towards any actual data for this?
So far I've seen a lot of people saying this yet I've done a fair number of ex primals and have not gotten any card drops from them. In addition I haven't seen a single post with any actual data that shows the drop rate is higher on both the forums and reddit. I'm trying to determine if this is just a rumor started by assuming players or if was actually said by the devs/proven anywhere?
Right now based on my own experience, if the drop rate is better that increase is marginal at best. I've done around 30 ex primals since the patch and haven't gotten a single card from those, I understand that's a rather small sample size though so I would love it if anybody can point me to any real numbers.
RNG at it's best I guess.
I've been light farming this past week and I already got Levi (from HM), Shiva twice (HM and EX), Garuda (from HM) and Gilgamesh (Bridge). I think I'm using all my up luck, I don't want to know how bad it will go once I get to the zodiac step of my relic.
